Thanks Tony...the part about stadium ownership is I guess obvious...have you heard that you guys are gonna build your own?
If any club in Italy needed a new stadium, from what I have heard and read, its Juve.

I think, what some people concern here about Milan lab and its connection with injury is a bit absurd. We should see the injury of Milan players comprehensively. Who were injured, why did the get injury (players' mistakes, other players mistake, etc), what kind of injury they had, how were thier injury's records, how old were they, how many games had they played before they got injury, etc?

In this season, if I am not mistaken we didn't have so many injuries with respect to not-old players (around or under 30 years old) and also with respect to the normal players, players that are not injury prone like ?Nesta?.

In this season, the players that got injury oftenly : Ronaldo, Maldini, Nesta, Favalli, Jankulovski, Serginho, Inzaghi, Dida and Seedorf. These players were OLD except Jankulovski, Ronaldo and Seedorf. Old players normally have problems with fitness. Having problem with fitness make players injured more easily compare to the fit players.

Ronaldo cases (before he injured himself recenlty) was more to Milan doctor mistake ACCORDING to the news (I dont know what happened exactly with Ronaldo).

I forget why Janku was injured at the beginning of last season. I think, certain fullbacks are susceptible to injury, especially fast fullbacks or fullbacks that runs so much (moves forward and moves back quickly). Thing with Seedorf's injury is more to Seedorf characteristic of phisical body and type of his play IMO. Seedorf has already problem with his speed and fitnes since 2 years ago. This thing plays big role to cause Seedorf's injury IMO.

With Dida, it's the same story with years before IMO as he always has problem with kind of the injury this season (not the injury because he tried to stand up from bench).

There were also Kaka, Oddo, ?Gattuso? and Pato. Kaka was injured for long time enough but if I am not mistaken (again ) but it's because opponent player's mistake (something Milan Lab can't prevent). The player did tackle to Kaka, I think. About Oddo I really dont know. Did he get it in training? But Oddo did miss many games because of his injury.

With Pato, it was his 'mistake' by false landing his foot (again Milan Lab cant do anything to stop such kind of injury). I think Gattuso was also injured but again I forget why he got injury.

We have also not to mix up between injured players and players who needed rest so they couldnt play for some games (Pirlo and especially Kaka who was rested for some games on purpose).

So, I think we didnt have many injury this season. We can compare to other team regarding the amount of injured players.

Last season were really trouble for our players as they had so many games (almost 2 games weekly) AND Milan didn't have decent squad depth that made the same players play every single match. If you guys read milan.com oftenly, you would find news about the doctor that gave his views about the condition of injured players and certain players who always play like Kaka and Pirlo. They always observe players' situation and condition according to the data they got from Milan Lab.

Milan Lab still had its 'magic' last season. Gattuso was predicted not able to play against Arsenal in London or even for both games but he played in London and in the second leg.

In my deep opinion, if we didn't have Milan Lab, we would have big trouble last season.

Tony mate,in this case I`m obliged to say it was jamie...his my fellow milanista, we have to watch our back from guys like you.

On the other hand, you live in my country....and my mate Jamie secretly loves Pool more than Milan.

dont know what to say!!!!

the truth is that I saw Jamie first mentioning Vargas, but when I roll my film back, i suppose it was u the first to scout him, since Jamie doesnt watch Seria A that often. So congrats to you, your a great scout

No if you can pls PM Giancarlo, and show him the report of your scouting, cuz I myself can not convince him of how good vargas is.

Why? BEcause I think there are better more experienced players to play in that position?

We know milan Lab is great, but they could not manage to get Ronaldo to shape for a year.Maybe I have little knowledge on this, however for me that was embarrassing.

Dont you fear that the same might happen with Dinho????? I know his talent is not questionable and he will have a positive impact regardless of anything, but a player of his shape is bond to injuries a lot.

Hahaha, why do you have to take everything so personally ? He was just joking man and we used to do that a lot in the past. I really don't know what's the reason MM became so serious lately

Well, unlike the footballers, the doctors don't lose form and it's not like they were good but now they aren't good anymore.
The problem in Milan is that Serginho, Inzaghi, Oddo, Maldini, Nesta, Cafu etc are veterans and even science can't do much about that.
Ronaldo has been injured for the last 8 years. Since he's in his 30's now he's going to get injured a lot more often than he did (and he was injured all the time anyway).
If Dinho's problems are fixable, then i have no doubt that your doctors will fix everything.

This is all i could find :
"Juve have been known to be the 1st in innovating and make money without going red. They're making the new stadium with lots of mini "shops" and stuff around it to generate more cash and pay for their expenses while other clubs can't afford to build one(small club, big club but full of debts) or there's already one there and the city won't make them do it."

Gio, any news about what's going on in Italy? How are Berlu and Galliani taking the recent protest by Milan fans? I find it incredible how a club owned by Italy's richest and most powerful man comes out in public and repeatedly bemoan how poor they are.

Oh you mean that non-representative and frankly ungrateful petition that was going around? It's not representative of all Milan fans.

This strikes a chord with me. I may take things a bit personally because Milan is and always will be my club.

What? Cafu and Serginho retired. And to be honest Ronaldo's recovery was rather fast for someone of his age (and even faster than his recoveries from previous injuries... like that bad one I think he had in 2001).

Anyways... this is slightly related...

http://www.goal.com/en-US/Articolo.a...enutoId=763878

Ajax signed a striker Sulejmani (serb) from Heerenven (SP?)... this could signal Huntelaar leaving Ajax...
