How is Milan at the forfront for domestic Talent? Inter have reached 2 consecutive finals in two years for the Primavera, and their under 17 just won it. Whie most of Juve's youth are being bought up by clubs in Italy and are most of them will be participating in the Olympics.
Respectfully disagreed. I think Paloschi is better than Balotelli (this is my opinion). And on top of that Amauri is overrated in my opinion (20 goals in two years?) How is Amauri better than Borriello? But, Paloschi is also so young... and has a lot of time to grow even better.

It is also my opinion that Milan has produced better quality domestic talent.

Lets get back to the topic. THIS IS ABOUT THE SUMMER MERCATO, so I ask you lets talk about that. There is a topic for youth talent in Milan in this forum.

In this thread I remain solely interested in who we acquire in the next days or perhaps weeks to come.

Balotelli is younger then Polschi if u didnt know, he couldnt participate in the Olympics because he wasnt 18 and couldnt get an Italian passport. To compare Balotelli with Paloschi is crazy.

Amauri was also Injured for more then half a season so unfair analysis their.

He is indeed. A whopping eight months younger.

Tell me how it is crazy to compare two players who, as have already mentioned, are eight months apart in age and have similar goal scoring records in Serie A? Paloschi has two goals in just 1 start and six substitute appearances, as well as two in Coppa matches, while Balotelli has three in 7 starts and 4 substitute appearances, as well as four (?) in the Coppa.

Do u watch Serie A? Balotelli was the main Protagonist In Inters Final stretch this season. Without him I doubt Inter would have won anything. Paloschi has done nothing in Serie A to compare him to Balotelli who literally saved Inters season

please most pundits compare balotelli to PATO not paloschi. paloschi may become a great plaer. but balotelli is first team on the serie A champions at 17. He played as much down the stretch as pato. He relegated suazo and crespo to he bench.

i HATE inter, but balotelli is veryvery talented. chelsea and real madrid attempted to poach him. I still think pato is better. but in terms of best 18 year olds in world. i'd put him a close number 2.

edit: oh and balotelli is expected to take a key roll in inters campaign next year. similar to pato for us. not being loaned out. they r on different levels.... a fairer inter comparison for paloschi might be aquafresca. although he is older... but in terms of progression

edit2: if i was to take anyone off inter he would be m #1 choice.

finally a good debate, although I wonder why in "Transfers"...

what's the big interest in comparing them anyway? all Balotelli and Amauri have in common is that they're serie A forwards who are about to become Italian citizens...

Back to Transfer:

If adebayor is available as Gallaini has confirmed, then He will probably be Milans prefered signing over Ronoldinho. And personally hes the better choice by far. The last thing AC needs is another player whose won it all and is past his best.

But I think this might be better: We may only be able to get one of those, stick with Borriello... then if Borriello does not perform, sell him in the winter transfer season... this may be a calculated risk but it should be given a chance. I'd prefer Borriello and Adebayor... then if we need to, get an attacking midfielder or another striker in the winter transfer season.
I'm equally shocked The thing is if we keep Boriello and have both Dinho and Ade in the squad, what then happens to Pato and your beloved Pippo? I think Galliani was right (for once) in saying that we would have problems in the dressing room if we got bought. What i propose is to sell Boriello now, while he's still hot and can command a price, rather than wait til winter then sell him if he flops and get next to nothing. I really wonder why we got him back when Galliani has been saying all along that we will sign a top class forward. Boriello has already made it clear that he doesnt want to come back as 4th striker, and quite frankly after the season he has had, doesnt deserve to warm the bench.

Ibrahimovic saved Inter on the last day of the season, not Balotelli. That said, Balotelli was undoubtedly more influenital than Paloschi this season, but their goal scoring record in Serie A is very similar. Let's wait and see, its far too early into both of their careers to be making judgments, at this point we have just a handful of games on which to make our judgments. Who knows? Maybe in Euro 2012 we will see a Paloschi-Balotelli striker partnership.

I dont think Laporta will be as kean to buy Adebayor as he was 2 weeks ago. With his presidency finally confirmed, he doesnt have as much pressure. Eithier- Or, it really depends on Barca.

This is NOT a valid response. I gave you a list of players and you ignored it. I'm done arguing on this basis. If you don't acknowledge my arguments (and facts), then don't respond to me. Paloschi is totally comparable to Balotelli. Totally in every regard (they have similar statistics at this point).

Thanks.

This is why I'm not super enthusiastic over Milan buying Ronaldinho... I think we should have the following in our strike force (4 strikers): Adebayor, Borriello, Pato and Inzaghi.... no more. It will either be Adebayor OR Ronaldinho... I agree. Not both.

I don't think Borriello will flop, or at least I hope. I say we take the calculated risk.

risk to stick with Boriello instead of Dinho or to sell Boriello if failed in 1st half season ?
if you mean by the latter one, i doubt milan ever sold players for money in winter mercato. a thing i've never heard before.
the most reason milan loaded out players in current season is lack of playing minute in loan term or even free

U think if Milan owned the services of Balotelli , Galliani would still be willing to purchase Adebayor, Drogba ect for over 25 Mill ?

Know ask urself why Paloschi is not enough to fill Adebayors spot for that starting striker that Galliani is trying so hard to fill.
