Waste of money if I had anything to say about it. I say Milan should take the loss and sell him for something (even breaking the contract).

It's like the housing market... take what you can or you'll get screwed even more.

But realistically, he'll probably stay... it's such a waste... paying a player so much who will never play another game with Milan most likely. As long as Abbiati and Kalac are ahead of him, I'm okay.

The difference not neccesarly is in the "class" of the person. Dida is at the end of his career, our management offered him enough money for him to have the rest of his life secure (and maybe even the life of his children) and he took it, like anyone else would, specially considering his career will be over in a couple of years at most.

Gila on the other hand has his career ahead of him, he just had to made that payroll cut to save his career. Maybe if he would have been 35 he wouldn't have cared, and would have remained here.

Pavlyuchenko is a way bigger gamble than Adebayor, that's for sure.

I doubt that Ancelotti is going to be starting him at all though... so unless Abbiati and Kalac get injured... he won't have the chance.

Btw, I hear Adebayor is going to be playing with Gattuso and Seedorf in this charity match tribute to Nelson Mandela... heheh... I wonder if that is going to be shown, because I'd like to watch it. You know Seedorf had a great hand in organizing it...
