has anyone hear watched lucas levia (on liverpool) i know we were interested in him at one point, and he's a talented MF (won 2006 brazilian footballer of year). He can't seem to get time in liverpool, but i think its more political. I know he's also been capped for brazil....He also holds an italian passport

any opinions?

It's hard to win a starting spot in CM when your rivals are Gerrard, Xabi Alonso and Mascherano.
Lucas did good nevertheless and got his share of matches. Benitez decided to sell Sissoko so he could have only 4 CMs and give more playing time to Lucas Leiva.
Now even if Liverpool buy Barry it's Xabi who'll leave the team, not Lucas.

He will stay in Pool i believe and he'll be rotated with Mascherano and Barry. Benitez sometimes plays with 3 Cms and that's why Lucas will get more chances.

Excellent. I will definitely watch it... I'm sure management is going to take notice of it...

yes whats another 10 mil down the drain lol. Here's to hoping he regains form though. Dida on form really is top 5 gk in the world. Unfortunately i think we'd all agree its highly unlikely

Well, are they going to release him then? Doubt it.

Losing 10 million is not a good thing... the only thing I can think of is releasing him on loan to a team in Brazil... and let them pay part of his wage. Dida is not going to regain the form he once had I think.

Hmmm Dida is steal better then Kalac and Abiati and it isn't a good choice to release him but we should take new gk like Oscar Ustari , Akinfeev or we should buy Shalke's 04 Gk I don't know what was his name

Breaking news: I am awesome.

No, Thiago Neves is worth 12 million euros says his agent (calciomercato).

Dida in his present form is absolutely terrible... and I would say even Kalac is better than him...

Manuel Neuer?

Another dumb idea of mine...

http://www.goal.com/en-US/Articolo.a...enutoId=770000

Amr Zaky... he's scored 27 times in 48 games for his Egyptian national team... if you all remember he was a star in the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations... he scored 4 times in that, and struck twice against Ivory Coast.

He's having contract issues apparently and may want to be released... he's 25 years old...

Kalac> Dida you guys MUST be kidding me...Kalac came in when Dida was at the absolute lowest point in his career....the base of a trench to be exact.....a one legged midget oiled down in vaseline would have done a better job than Dida. But Kalac proved himself as being far more rubbish than Dida could even fathom to be. I am greatful for his fantastic displays....particularly vs. Fiorentina but he is an AWFUL keeper.....just look at the first goal vs Arsenal beaten from a shot from nearly the half field it was all downhill from there. I'd take Dida over Kalac anyday....and Abbiatti is only marginally better than Kalac imho

I really doubt players from that region could hack it in Serie A.
