sheva is old and a sellout. I respect everything he did for milan but he is not going to pop into our lineup and be the sheva of 2003. He is the sheva of 2008, 33 years old.

I don't want sheva for 1 major reason. I want this team to MOVE ON... not move back. Embrace change. Why not bring cafu and serginho out of retirement while we're at it. Rui costa too. I view sheva as an easy cop out. Perhaps if we signed some high quality defenders and still needed attack i'd say yes. But sheva isnt the signing we need

I am not sure with Sheva. I think he could be a joker (decider) for Milan just like Inzaghi. He will be 32 this Sept, not 33. As far as I know, Sheva is a player with good fitnes (he almost played 90 minutes in every game with Milan).

I am sure, he will think that he wont be regarded as very important player like some years ago, so I do think he will accept bench role. Even he will be only subtitute for our main strikers or in the middle of a game, I am sure he will get much more games in Milan then he got with Chelsea.

Sheva is a sharp striker with very good finishing. With Milan (Carlo's tactic), he will get delicious chances to score especially as we will have good fullback(s) who can deliver good crosses. Another Sheva advantage is that he can score either with his two feet or his head. His header is a typical Inzaghi.

Except huge wage (which I doubt as Sheva will accept much lower salary becaue if he moves it means he wants to find the pride, not the salary as main goal) and EU-spot, I dont see other disadvantage from Sheva.

Maybe (just maybe as I am not sure ) the best combination for our striker's transfer is R10 and Sheva (Galliani told us, it's R10 or Ade) compare to Sheva & Adebayor.

But I still hope for R10 and Adebayor lol.

i suppose siregar. I just dont want milan to spend a penny on him. I'd also like to see some more pace.

One of the reasons I prefer Adebayor over Sheva is that Adebayor is much younger...

i prefer adebayor because he is MUCH better. (Sheva in prime vs. ade is a different discussion but today adebayor is better

not the best reason unless Ade and Sheva are identitical, and they are not. Sheva has a lot more experiences than Adebayor; one may say that you need to give chance to Adebayor, but giving chance is one thing and winning thing is another.

I don't think Milan ever gambles on giving chance: When they put a player down there, they (or at least Carlo Ancelotti) thinks he deserves to be there. It's not like 'giving you a chance". There is a reason behind every action.

This probably also explains why Gourcuff didn't get much chance here at Milan. My interpretation is that he is simply not good enough, yet.

cmon now. there is no way gorky was worse than brocchi. Carlo can be very catious. one cant deny that. I also think he hates the french. Viera,dhorasoo, BA?!

Ancelotti has nothing to do with Vieira, and even with Ba.

I'd say we keep Ronaldo... he seems to be in good shape again... look...

Ronaldo almost pisses me off right now. He's in terrible shape and he's done with Milan.

Carlo did give chances to Gourcuff. At the beginning of the season in his first year with Milan, Gourcuff got chances to play as starting line-up and did pretty well but he had injury and after the injury his performances were inconsistent (2006/07). In 2007/08 Carlo seemed hesitant to give him chances but Carlo gave him chances even not like a year before but Gourcuff didnt pay the trust Carlo gave.

Yes, I know it that it's very difficult for such a young age to play well after staying on the bench for many games but the worst of his day (performance red.) was coming near the end of the season. He played terribly. Since that day, I am very sure he did need tons of games to gain experience as he couldnt get it in Milan (not Carlo's fault as Carlo did give him chances) and his time with Milan would end (?temporarily?).

I agree, he was not yet Milan standard and I do hope he will come back to Milan as a much better player.

he came on in 80th minute typically. i dont call those great chances. I think he played 90 just once or twice 07/08. Bad situation eitherway
