Mancini to Inter

Another epsidoe in our disastrous transfer campaign so far. Inter have a very versatile attacker who can fill in on the wing or even push up into a forward position, and at £10m thats nearly free.

http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...ia/jul10k.html

He would have been a positive addition to Milan as he can play in a 4-3-2-1 or a 4-3-1-2

Yeh Inter are making all the headlines today. About Mancini, he would have been a great signing but Galliani wants to go broke on Ronaldino

We don't need Mancini.....we have a proven Champions' League winner in Christian Brocchi

Mancini is not the kind of player we need. We already have creative midfielders. What disastrous transfer campaign? We're on the brink of getting Adebayor, and you call this transfer season disastrous?

We got Flamini on a free transfer for example... which is considered by most analysts as the biggest market coup of the season.

Tell me, if Mancini is so incredible, how many times has he been called for the Brazilian national team? He must still be called up right?

And exactly, how many players has Inter bought to date? They totally utterly failed in their bid to get Lampard. Now that's sad.

Edit: Toned down a bit. Don't want to get in trouble.

I agree with u that there is still plenty of time to make transfers. But your anaylsis on Mancini is unfair.

There are many Brazilians who never get called for the NT, it doesnt mean there bad or worse then some of the ones who do get called up. Sometimes its for tactical reasons or a coach just has strong ideas about the way he wants his team to play.

For ex. Maicon is a the starting RB for brazil and starts over Dani Alves.
In hindsight this may seem stupid to certain fans but Dunga is a coach who places alot of importance in defending and Maicon stays back more as he also is stronger and taller then little alves thus being more defensively sound. Another reason maybe because dani may change the way of attack on the right. Anywayz just a few examples.

I understand that completely. Maybe I was a bit unfair towards him, and I think Dunga can be a bit of an airhead sometimes...

But, there are better Brazilian attacking midfielders out there. I never have been that impressed by Mancini. I much rather have Hernanes playing as another attacking midfielder, instead of Mancini. He's certainly a lot younger and faster from what I've seen in the Copa Libertadores.

I dont think 'Mancini to Inter' deserves a thread in MM. What the hell is that news to do with Milan? Mancini price is not record transfer player. So, for me it's funny to see a thread in MM just for Mancini.

i think it's important to know other's clubs signing. and since he/she put the thread in Italian Football section so it's allowed to post anything related to Serie A. and this topic is absolutely related with Serie A. but i think mods or someone should open a thread about Seria A transfer market. so no need to open every thread for every signing in Serie A. or if it's bothering too much just merged it with Serie A thread. for me (and i think for many members too) as long as there's a news related to football should be worthy to read ^^

about the signing, i think Mancini is a good signing for our neighbour. man is versatile and should be useful for Inter. when they got him for £10M i think it's a rob for such a talent ^^

Yeah, I agree MLM. About the news, I agree it could be add to the existed thread but NOT a special thread. It seems to me that this thread says that the transfer is very very popular or very great (highest transfer like Zidane for example.
Maybe mods should open a special thread for Serie A transfer or for all transfer that has been done (or maybe there is already such a thread).

Someone mention it in summer mercato trhead, and I've replied there before writing my previous post in this trhead.

My point is : no worth for every Serie A signing to have a thread except for Milan.

You are right Gian we havetoo many creative midfielders like seedorf(32 and past it but good squad player) and pirlo who spends more time infront of the back four than in the last 3rd, gourcuff(on loan) oh and kaka. so we have 1 real first team creative midfielder thats kaka, and even he is more like a forward.

So being 'on the brink' of signing adebayor signifies a fantastic transfer campaign for you, thats fine by me i respect ur opinion, but besides the fact that i dont realy like adebayor, we havent aquired a goal keeper the reason we dropped at least 6-10 points last season, a quality left full back, a central defender, another midefielder and a striker. So in reality we havent solved any of our main problems which were defensive. so it is disastrous thus far.

As for Mancini i see you are no footballing expert with your coment about him not playing fro brazil, does that make somebody a bad player, again if u think so thats your opinion. for £10m that nearly free and you can a competent and versatile midfielder/forward, or u can stick with brocchi.

I guess you didnt watch any of the Milan matches, Qutuz, because saying only Kaka is the creative midfield is plain stupid IMO.

yes, Pirlo plays deep, but does he have to go forward to manage the game? how many deadly passes/crosses did he make while playing in Milan's half?

Milan had a crisis in the defense last season, but I guess with the signing of Zambrotta, that was covered a bit, so now, Bonera can either play on the rught and Zambrotta on the left, or what not, Bonera can even play in Middle..

we didnt sign a good midfielder? you havent been reading the news, we signed Flamini since April(?)

we have brought back some of the promising youth players that were on loan, and that doesnt satisfy you?

or you want us to go on a buying spree like Real Madrid and buy every god damn player they can?

no really what do you want from Milan, and since you know what Milan needs why dont you just go and buy the club?

No, tell me how many deadly passes he done, beacuse he had a realy poor season by his standards. We need more than zambrotta, we need another quality centre back, u cant survive 1 season with a first 11 u need a squad. As for flamini if u read my post i said 'another' midfielder acknowledging Flamini's arrival. see rather me not reading news looks like u are not reading the posts. Bringing back youth players does not satisfy me after we finished 5th in league and got outpalyed in our our back yard in the CL.
Yes real madrid spens alot, thats why the are the most successful club in european and spanish history. As for your last comment ill disregard that as utter ignorance.

when was the last time Real won the CL or anything in Europe? yes they have been great once in europe, but not anymore(for the time being atleast), they got outplayed by far less quality team than them, Roma(tho they are still very good, Roma)

Pirlo had a poor season yes, but who didnt in Milan this season? and did you watch when Milan played without Pirlo, what happened? oh yes, total chaos in midfield and linking with the attack

and no, in this thread, you havent even mentioned anything related to the signing of our new players, you just want to critisize the management, so i'm not gonna stop you, knock yourself out
