Despite Arsenal starting the negotiations for Adebayor, the Times reports rumours of the possibility that the Russian attacker Roman Pavlyuchenko could become Rossonero. According to the Times the Rossoneri would be ready to pay 15 million pounds (almost 19 million euros) to Spartak Moscow.

----

First time I've ever seen a price mentioned for Pav... is this plan B if the Adebayor negotiations fail?
hmmmmm..... i liked pavluychenko but u never know... adebayor did it in epl

So do you want that Gourcuf had 25 games from first minuest and 15 games a year after his first season also from first minutes? Come on! I do like him but as I said he is not world class talent caliblre. The point is he has that chances but failed to pay the trust especially in 07/08.

As for Inter sign Mancini, it makes them have more choice at choosing player or choosing the formation. It will be very though for other clubs to compete with inter in long competition (Serie A) as their first team player and second one are more less same except there would no decent injury for Inter's opponent.

13 mil euros for Mancini is a pretty cheap price IMO (I am talking only the price, not corelated to Milan).

would you say he's not worth it if he scored 20 goals in serie A next year and gives us a 25 goal avg in all competitions for next few years?

As for mancini to inteR:

and thats 1 thing im jealous of them about. They have ability to change tactics with different type of players. We have 6 DMs. I'd like to see a few players brought in with different qualities so they can truly influence the game. Last year we had brocchi coming in in midfield. if we were losing i dont really know what he provides. Now we have flamini who is a HUGE upgrade... but still a defensive mid. He's not serginho racing down flank (7 years ago).

I do think so. 30 mil euro is the limit for Milan to buy Adebayor.

I hope, Gourcuff will not be included in the negotiation for Adebayor. Gourcuff has talent there but he needs tons of experience. My hope that Gourcuff still has desire to play for Milan if he succeded in Bordeaux.

we do all expect goals from him but this is not in Galliani's style giving astronomical amount of monay to a club for player.

if he signs for us than that will be great job by arsenal

Good point about the Mancini to Inter allowing for a change of tactics; if there is one thing that we sorely lacked last year, it was the ability to change our shape and style of play. We are so redundant in the midfield. Teams aren't going to be awed to come to SS next year, especially after they saw our performances last year. I don't think that Carlo has the nuts to really mix it up and we're still suffering with too many DM's. I hope it gets better or else i'm going to have lots of pissed off neighbors at 8 a.m on sunday's when I'm yelling at the TV like last year!

gave that much for nesta... but high qualtiy CB's go for that rate.... I'd also say nesta is more proven. We paid 25 and 35 for inzaghi and rui costa too i believe.

8? I'm in california.... i was doing it usually at 6 am usually still drunk from the night before. If we could just dump brocchi and bring in some1 creative... like a joao moutinho, hernanes, iniesta. so that he could relieve pirlo, seedorf and perhaps dethrown there seats. Right now we have flamini, emerson, ambro to go to. Nothing against them but none provide offense when needed. They r all better for coming in last 20 to close a game we're winning

That's the problem with Carlo though...he won't play any other way, and his default is to be more cautious. Even if we had those players, they wouldn't succeed in his system.

Frankly, what we need is more important right now, and we are lacking a physical presence in the box. Having a goalpoacher like Inzaghi is great... but if we have to pay the price to get a physical striker like Adebayor, then so be it.

We've all seen him play more attacking formations, and he's only been more cautious because we were shortchanged throughout the season. He even said it himself that he would change the formation a bit for next season.
