good enough for 5th.

So buy him and let him sit at River Plate and then call him up. You'll save a TON while still building for the future.
This is EXACTLY what has gotten Milan in trouble; rather than getting a few more players in the lower price level and letting the team build and develop, we're pinning our hopes on 1-2 massive signings. Arsenal has proven that if you scout well and buy well, you can put together an impressive team. We have to look beyond this year, and stop looking one year at a time. Everyone at Milan talks about how a new cycle needs to begin; here is a perfect chance to try it out.
I'd like to see Milan be able to change formations in games, and to do this we need players that can adapt and play different roles. Why can't we have an amazing line of Pato and Falcao with Borriello? It'd scare the hell out of teams.
I'd like to return to the days when teams were afraid of OUR attack.

Yes. As if we purchase Falcao now it will be for 0 bucks. He has his price now, and it won't be cheap especially for us, you know.

What does that mean if anything?

And Falcao makes charging runs... we already have that covered. We need to have a strong presence in the box... Adebayor, Eto'o... Pavlyuchenko..

And how far did Arsenal's practices get them? They have never won anything as of late. They looked destined to win their domestic title earlier in the season and then dipped... frankly, we have the bones, but we need one or two huge signings.

8 million is the bid Arsenal are tabling for Falcao...
One point about the article and the fact that only 1/3 of our money is self-sustained, this comes down alot to not owning the stadium; until this changes, it will be another big reason why italian teams are suffering.

Arsenal seems to want things more on the cheap than Berlusconi... 8 million? That's it? River will at least want 20 million for him. And by the way, Arsenal is in money problems itself.

If you think we have money problems, seriously... look at how some of the English teams are operated. Take Liverpool. Oh. My. God. That's an unsustainable business policy if I've ever seen. It won't be long before these EPL teams will have to liquidate assets and sell players.

he'd choose milan over arsenal. garenteed!

anyway arsenal havent won anything of late, but ttheyve built an incredibly competative squad on low budget, w/ lots and lots of budding stars. i like idea of buying like them and juve (buy em when they r 17-20, develop, loan em). arsenals weakness in my opinion is also there strength.... wenger's ego. its that which builds players this way, but also which loses them..

Yet they refuse to pay their stars and move of them want to pack their bags and leave. And not only that they have one of the most unsettled squads I've ever seen with plenty of players signaling their notions in leaving. And a manager who needs a kick in the head. Wenger pisses me off to no end.

I'm against the way Arsenal does its practices and I'm for buying players who are more developed, while buying a few starlets. Lets not start building a team around that because there is always the consistency problem.

if we were 4th these season and get money from uefa for playing in champion league maybe then some super star will come but these season we don't need super stars we need more young player to get experience in cup uefa and Italy Serie A for the new season where we must take first or second place and if there is enough power in our players won Cup uefa and take one more trophy So the point of these my post was that we are unable to buy stars because our transfer budget is low and buy prosperity players and let them take experience for season 2009\2009 where we must play in champion league!

Arse-nal will offload Adebayor to us with some 30M and use it to buy Falcao. If they're lucky enugh they will also get Gourcuff.

The point is that we're not poor. We're not lack of money. We spent millions on rubbishes like Oddo, Ronaldo, Oliveira... Even we overpriced Borriello (Carletto said he doesn't like Borriello or something like that, yet we paid for him for some 10M or less). We have much money. We only need to spend it on the right way.

And 30M + Gourcuff = Adebayor IS DEFINITELY NOT A RIGHT WAY.

Good point about Wenger, but they stick to their policy with wages which I like. How many young people (besides maybe Brazilians or friends of Kaka') will take a chance to come to Milan?; there is very little chance of getting into the team, even though it can't take much to beat Brocchi or Simic or Emerson...it's not a very conducive atmosphere for young players.

Buy Falcao if you want. He could deliver a treble for us in some 5 years, maybe. But we also need the titles NOW. So buy Falcao if you want, but do not forget others.
