Actually there has been a date named and that's a signing(s) by July 16th... and there is potential news tomorrow. These aren't just rumors anymore.

Adebayor rumour can be still alive even with the signing of Ronaldinho. I don't want to fuel hopes, but i'm not convinced Eto'o can go to Arsenal as part of Adebayor deal.
Eto'o wants 8 M per season. I can't see Wenger giving him that sum.

Obviously this is a very important particular the so called sportive journalists totally overlooked. I'm starting to believe that sportive sites like goal.com are run by a bunch of idiots.

A date is named, that is right. That doesn't necessarily mean that Milan will have signed Ronaldinho and/or Adebayor before that date, as whether a deal will be completed or not depends not only on Milan.

There are still a lot of rumours surrounding these transfers. Man City have supposedly stunned Milan with a £22 million offer for Ronaldinho, Ronaldinho says yes to Man City, Adebayor's agent saying that Arsenal are ready to sell for a cut-price while Arsenal still don't want to sell according to other sources... I don't know what's right. Agents and media are not trustworthy during "silly season".

There's potential news every day, and there have been for the last couple of months... So let's hope something happens pretty soon.

IMO, a date named usually means very little. The Spanish press had one billion dates about the transfer of Kaka and CR to Real.

I highly doubt Ronaldinho would consider ManC. I don't think he sees himself as a finished player just yet. Their name being mentioned is more part of the haggling process. I'd rate the possibility of us signing him as almost finished. questioning remaining is at what price.

Just read on channel4 that Frey turned down a move to Milan, because he preferred to stay with the Viola....the silver lining for me is that we were after a goalie, and could very well still be looking...so Boruc et al remain a possibility methinks.

I agree...depending on how much we pay for one we may be able to go for both. This story is about to lay an egg really soon.

I think they know there is no room for error or to screw this one up.

We'll either be singing managements praises or cursing their ineptness in the next few days.

My gut tells me management will find away to get both in the Milan Jersey which would make us an EXTREMELY dangerous team offensively speaking.

We'd have the potential to win games 3-2, 4-3 or even 5-3 if we can secure both.

We'd also be able to field a quality squad & compete for the Coppa Italia with the addition of those two.

Galiani would have bought himself some MAJOR points with Milan Fans if he can pull this off.

If we get both Ade & R10...I think "IF" we still get a keeper it'll be a young keeper on the cheap.

If we get one of the two mentioned above...we have a better chance of securing a top keeper.

We have to wait and see what happens in the next 3 to 5 days.

weather here atNYC sucks! I been checkin online anxiously awaiting the news on Dinho. This reminds me of how I was doing the same in Malaga 3 years ago. Months of speculation until one day I checked tgcom.it from my phone on a roadtrip to Seville and it said "GILARDINO E' MILAN". I, and most of you, were so happy and now 3 years later we are even happier to get rid of him.

Point being, if we sign Dinho - fantastic, but by no means does this guarantee success. He's just one brick from a wall we needto build. I am optimistic and hope to see the end of this saga today.

However, I smell something fishy. Weeks of complaining of no money and yadayada and now itseems all the negotiations are becoming easier. Seems like (hate to admit it) Galliani knew what he wasdoing. R10, ade, Sheva seem set to join .. We all are debating which of these will be best, exactly where Galliani wants us, so all of a sudden he surprises us. I think it was all an act and now we are getting to thefinale, sit tight! For once I finally feel optimistic bout Galliani!

Forza Milan

Becareful...we've been burned before after getting our hopes up. I agree though this is quite different.

I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic...but I can't help but to think Ronaldino is already ours.

I don't think we get R10, Adebayor and Sheva...if we do Boriello will be gone.

Sheva, Adebayor, Boriello, Pippo, and Pato, is much. IMO we'll get R10 and one of the two. Which is freaking AMAZING!!!

O/T - Montreal Impact will be playing Toronto FC on the 22 of this month for a spot in the CONCACAF CL...following it any?

He would say that, its in his interest. If Ronnie is clever he has to just say NO to city adn he will get Milan. Lets hope Galliani sticks to his guns and is prepared to lose him. If so we will get ronnie for a good price. If not, then who cares, i think he is more of a luxury than a neccessity.

That's because Laporta wants to Milan to up their bid for R10.

Ronaldinho is flying in to Barca, if Galiani wasn't doing the same thing Laporta could have tried to sway R10 to accept the Man City bid.

But with Galiani in town he'll make will make sure things don't get out of hand....hopefully and re-affirm to R10 that Milan will be doing everything they can to sign him.

(If the deal falls through though, Galiani better take a plane straight to London to get Adebayor or Drogba)

Yeah I know why he's saying it, but hopefully Galliani is reasonable with an offer.

Roberto de Assis smiles when asked if all will be resolved today. The feeling is that Dinho Rossonero is near (de assis is in the same hotel galliani is staying in).
