E' atterrato all'Aereoporto Internazionale "El Prat" di Barcelona anche Adriano Galliani: il volo IBE 5717 proveniente da Pisa (l'amministratore delegato era infatti a Forte dei Marmi in ferie) ha infatti toccato il suolo catalano del Terminal B. Intanto Ronaldinho e Roberto Assis hanno raggiunto la villa del trequartista brasiliano nella zona costiera, aspettando l'incontro con Joan Laporta e Txiki Beguiristain in programma per le 18 circa.

Per dare l'assalto finale a Ronaldinho serve una vera e propria strategia, da concordare con il giocatore e il suo agente. Solo così Laporta cadrà. Potrebbe già succedere in serata, ma non è ancora sicuro. Perché il Milan non vuole (e non può) sbagliare questo colpo, e pazienza se dovesse servire un giorno in più.

Ecco le tappe della strategia rossonera. Galliani è sbarcato a Barcellona nel primo pomeriggio. Alle 18 summit con Bronzetti, insieme a Dinho e al fratello procuratore Roberto de Assis, che in Spagna, dopo l'arrivo nella notte da Porto Alegre, non hanno ancora visto nessuno. Ronaldinho ribadirà il suo no irrevocabile alla destinazione Manchester City (che offre 30 milioni di euro). Messo con le spalle al muro, il presidente blaugrana non potrà che accettare. Magari non subito, ma fa niente. L'attesa, in fondo, è solo un effetto collaterale della strategia.

It is hilarious to think what it's like for all these guys to sit around and do business, especially after we all have certain images in our mind.
Galliani I can just imagine sweat pouring down his dome, his eyes bulging out, barely able to use the pen to sign the papers.

There are still a lot of rumours surrounding these transfers. Well all it means is these are just more then rumors.

It's confirmed that Man City made the offer, but why would Ronaldinho accept it? What would he get out of a club like that one that nearly faced relegation just a few seasons ago?

As far as Adebayor, Arsenal may not want to sell but could be forced to as Adebayor not wanting to stay would be a cancer to the team.

Of course. He wants Ronaldinho to take the Man City deal just to get every dime he can. He knows if Ronaldinho goes to Milan, Barcelona is literally screwed out of millions... but why would Ronaldinho take the City deal? That's almost as dumb as him going to the LA Galaxy. There is no future there.

Anyways, since Galliani and Bronzetti are in town, it's even less likely that he would take the city deal.

Basically it's about the plans for tonight. When and where the deal will go down.
We will offer no more than 20 million euros. Manchester City have offered 30 million euros, but Ronaldinho doesn't want to play there.

I think Galiani has done this enough that he's probably calm...but you're right the atmosphere will be tense as neither party will want to blink or flinch first.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in this meeting.

Just another tid-bit... if you consider goal.crap a valid source lol... it appears that Abate is going to be offered a new four year contract. Turns out it looks like any loan deal fell through and now Milan wants to keep him.

Guys, another thing about Ronaldinho. LA GALAXY offered the equivalent of 40 million euros for him... if it was about money don't think he would have packed his bags to LA?

I think the deal won't be necessarely closed within tonight. They could sit down, but the Catalans could do some resistance in order to get a few millions more.

i was quite glad of that 48 hour countdown Barcelona slapped on this transfer, at least it should be finished one way or the other by tomorrow. Or is that just wishful thinking?
