Well, it could be good for us if he goes for Olympics. Remember, he is out of shape (fat, to be precise) and playing with the Brazillian NT will help him get back into shape.

Personally, I'd prefer to see Ronaldinho play in some pre-season friendly matches... but seeing him play with Pato in the olympics too would be great.

Also as I said, if Pav has only a 10 million release fee, it is probable Milan go for him.

Final figure looks like about 14million for Dinho.

And about Ronaldinho's weight... it's true his thin frame would help him lose weight faster... good news for us.

Ronaldinho + Pavyluchenko = 24-30 million roughly

I still don't think it will happen, but if we try to flog Borriello, remember that it won't be easy. We value him at 20 million. I don't know if we'd just accept the 10 we paid or try to make some profit off of him; what are the teams that would take him at that price is the more realistic question to ask? This could possibly come back to bite us as we moved so fast on this one.

No guys, we won't sign Adebayor. We consider Adebayor too expensive, threfore Ronaldinho + Adebayor are MORE expensive.

As Dante wrote in The Divine Comedy, when he enters into the gates of Hell, he reads : "Give up your hope, those of you who are entering!".

Ade won't come.

Well, I agree with Gio that we can prob forget about Adebayor now that we are this close to Dinho...would still love for us to get both, but I dont think it will happen.

This will, I am sure facilitate a move for Ade to Barca, in an exchange + money deal for Etoo...

Well I mean when talking to the press and such... he's quiet publicly lately... I'm sure once Ronaldinho is announced he'll be jumping up and down, and saying he's the best in the world.

I relaly hope we still get that CF instead... maybe not Adebayor at this point, but maybe Pavlyuchenko... as I said his release is roughly 10 million euros... far less than Adebayor.

I think galliani said something like "The only 'chenko' i want is Shevchenko" so I don't see Pavlyuchenko happening. I too think if Dinho comes we'll be done for the time being, probably so that we can have a decent campaign to ensure CL qualification and then bring in a big forward. However, if Ade's price really did drop that much and we don't get him because we blew our load early for Borriello, that'd be a big disappointment. I'm not super blown away by Pavlyuchenko, he's good for sure, but I think we can do better. If that cannot happen financially this year, then let's get Dinho, rally the troops, and call it a mercato.

Perhaps true on that. If Sheva did come back, he'll not be playing all that much and he certainly does not impress me anymore.

I still want a CF... I know I'm like a kid in a candy store... lol.
