nothing's new. still remains mystery until now ^^

MILAN, Galliani is ready: he will be back with Ronaldinho
As we have announced before, the rumours concerning Ronaldinho's transfer to Manchester City are just a provocation, and AC Milan's answer is the fact that Executive Manager Adriano Galliani will fly tomorrow to Barcelona to come back with the brazilian player. The negotiation will start from the lombard club's 10 million Euros offer and an agreement could finally be found on a 15 million Euros basis. It seems that if the amount paid would be extremely favorable to Milan, it could remain secret to avoid problem...

not the best source though but its from transfermarketweb.com

Then at a serious reduced wages bring back Ronaldo hopefully back from injury and weight issues. I know its hard to count on him because of his past, but he seems to love Milan and the teammates show the same affection in return. Having a Ronaldo as your 4th striker doesn't seem like a bad idea for me but I would understand if people were skeptical about bringing him back.
So what you're saying is that you want this guy to be our 4th striker? You gotta be kidding me...

According to goal.crap...

http://www.goal.com/en-US/Articolo.a...enutoId=776917

Ronaldinho held an emotional meeting with Pep Guardiola in the Camp Nou dressing rooms on Monday, but told the new coach that he would be gone from the club by Friday.

The Brazilian flew into the Catalan capital to hold talks with the Blaugrana and went down to see the new coach along with directors, Txiki Begiristain and Raül Sanllehi, according to Sport.

Guardiola may have announced that Ronaldinho is not in his plans, but he still asked the player if he wanted to train only to be politely turned down.

"No, Pep I am not in the right frame of mind now," was the reply, to which the trainer responded. "Do not worry, take your time. You have three days top sort everything out."

On more than one occasion, Guardiola has stated that if Ronaldinho were to retain his fitness then he would be welcomed back into the Barça squad with open arms.

But the 28-year-old only has eyes for AC Milan now and is thought to be in Barcelona to push through a deal that will see him move to the San Siro later this week.

That was almost confirmed when Guardiola said to the superstar: "If you do not sort everything out, I will see you on Friday for training."

The answer was the most telling moment of the meeting as Ronaldinho replied. "Don't worry Pep, do not expect me on Friday because I will not be here."

Ronaldinho is desperate to be fit again and to rediscover his form after being called in to the Brazilian squad for the Olympic Games and any move to Milan will come second to that.

if we get dinho the tactics will change ... we will no longer get adebayor and we will play the christmas tree ... this is what we all know ... but this is the kind of words to say when you buy a full fintness ready player not ronaldinho .. becaue what if he screws up in the opening couple of months the alternative would be to play kaka behind boreillo and pato which is not suitable for "i got the scudetto in my pocket" team. i don't know i am just wondering

I just cannot see Ronaldinho going to Man City over Milan, except that Barcelona rejected the offer by Milan.

Even so Jeff, Barca, though they would prefer the Man City offer, Dinho, in this age of player power, will go to the club of his choosing....Barca & Laporta are just trying to get as much from Milan as they can.

Barca cannot sell him to any club he does not want to play for, when there is an offer for him, from a club he wants to play for.

R10 will be ours, and soon methinks.

But how can a team not sell a player to the EPL when Man City apparently offered 22 million while Milan only offerred 8 million?!? That's a huge desparity. The ONLY reason that Barca would turn down the Man City offer is because of the Article 17 rule - at least that's my guess. Man City can offer 100 million, but if Dinho doesn't want to go there, he can buy out his contract and Barca could end up with nothing. Is that what's going on here??? I can't think that the reason Barca would take Milan's lesser offer is only out of respect for the Dinho and a desire to make him happy.

Bronzetti and Galliani are heading to meet Laporta. "It's for sure that Dinho wants to come to Milan. Let's see." - Galliani (gazzetta).

Russo-Neri--Milan, by most reports, offered 15 million (20 million ceiling).

It's impossible to sell a player to a club he doesn't want to sign for, no matter what the offer is. Barca would never turn down an offer like the one they have received from Man City, but they still can't sell Ronaldinho to them if he doesn't want to go there. That's why there is still hope that he will sign for Milan...

Russo-neri....there is no sentiment here...Barca just want the $s....but u r correct that under article 17, he could just walk, and for less than what Milan are offering.

So this is the Barca dilemma...the player has (apparently) made his wishes clear, and so Barca are doing all in their power to eek out as much from Milan as possible.

Sentiment? This is the club that a few weeks ago declared him not in Guardiola's plans....and told him he could leave the club.

It just goes to show that Madrid is not the only club of gentlemen, that is run by boys.

In fact, I am sure its mainly for the preservation of a "good" working relationship with Barca why Milan is being so patient with this process...Galliani could have stayed in Italy, and forced R10 to use article 17, but methinks wanted to show, unequivically, Milan's interest in the player...more for R10's benefit as opposed to anything else.

Once a player has decided that he wants to leave, and to a club he has already agreed personal terms with, it very difficult for his current club to keep him.

This is the modern paradigm....player power is in effect, and no more are players just pieces on a checker-board, to be moved about at the club's whim and fancy.

Barca kno this, they are just holding out for more $s. They know Hleb is not gonna come cheap, and they are (according to rumors/reports) very close to effecting his transfer.

Etoo will probably end up staying, or going to an EPL club....not many clubs elsewhere can or (want to) afford his salary...more than likely in a swap deal for Adebayor.
