Am I the only one who thinks that playing with one pure DM (here Gattuso) is suicide? IMO we need 2 DM's (Pirlo not included) at all time. I can't really see Dinho, Seedorf and Kaka defending.. A team like, well lets say, Inter will walk straight over us in midfield.

Check my post from a little while ago : http://www.milanmania.com/forums/sho...postcount=6952
We always used to play with just 1 DM before...don't see why that would be a problem now. Playing with 2 pure DM's hinders ball distribution through the midfield which is a problem we had both last season and season before last.

The main difference now, and then for our dm position is that we no longer have a solid keeper and a wc central defence, and also our wide defenders aren't that good, hence the 2 dm role.

First of all a real warm welcome to Ronnie at Milan. No doubt he is a great signing and he will prove that. Now to our formation I think we will play very much as Barcelona has been playing for the last few seasons. Gattuso, Pirlo and Seedorf flat in the midfield and Ka-Pa-Ro partnership up front With Ronnie and Kaka supporting Pato. I mean like this:

Gattuso-----Pirlo-----Seedorf

--------Kaka-----Ronnie-----

-----------Pato-----------

I bet Carletto will start the season with something like:

Kalac
Zambrotta, Nesta, Maldini, Jankulovsky
Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini
Kaka', Seedorf,
Borriello

Pato and Dinho will not be ready for the firs game, I think.

Possibly. I also hear that there will be no major derby games in the first few weeks... can anyone confirm that for me?

Also a question about the GK... I think he'd start with Abbiati...

Who would you prefer in the box Abbiati or Kalac?

It's true. Milan, Inter, Juventus and Roma (maybe also Fiorentina) will be seeded, so they won't play against each other in the first five rounds.

First three rounds I believe. Last year it was three..I also remember the Roma-Juve being on the 4th match day and also last year Fiorentina was not one of the top seeds. Considering Milan is 5th, will we still be seeded as a top team?

Thanks for the video Capo Ultra!

Guys, you should see this video. The presentation is spectacular. It is as good as the Baresi testimonial match. The whole ground is covered with something or the other. There are ladies dressed in the Carnival dresses and fireworks. Ronaldinho looks blown away by the presentation. Nice marketing strategy by Milan.
