Not worth it. Kaka is proven and world class. Diego won't make it in Milan.

Really why are you for selling the heart and soul of Milan?

and as many stated(Giancarlo?) above Milan's debt is way less that United's and Chelsea's, hell, its even way less that most of the EPL clubs... and I also believe Berlu will close this debt soon, as he will invest more money into this club(wishful thinking, I know)
Why are ppl comparing Man u or Real madrids debt to Milans? Real and Man U make alot more in revenue then Ac Milan. Their stadiums are always packed and have more global appeal. Serie A is not at the top anymore and is financially struggling compared to La liga and the Primier League.

Im not the one Complaining about the debt, its Galliani who is, and he has mentioned it many times.

And do they? Do they make a lot more revenue than Milan? I doubt it. You're talk is inaccurate. We have far less debt and revenues are skyrocketing now because of Ronaldinho.

Galliani hasn't complained about the debt in weeks, pal.

It can easily be paid off, especially with the skyrocketing ticket sales we are having because of all the new players we bought especially Ronaldinho.

And if you think Milan stadium isn't packed for games, you're mistaken.

Galliani only complained about the money(Debt) because of the petition that was sent to the Milan Management...

he said he'll buy w/e players the fans need only IF he could sell Pirlo and Kaka(which I guess no Milan fan would like, besides you?)

no really, focus and think about it, why would you sell the best player on the team to buy and risk it with players who are yet to prove themselves on the big stage...

Im 100% sure that Man U and Real madrid make more in Revenue then Ac Milan if u dont believe me then go research and find out for urself. Debt for clubs who struggle to pay it off is different to clubs who are successfully globalizing their club and are confident in sealing it.

Calderon and the Glazers have ensured their fans that the debt isnt a problem for them while Galliani has worried the fans many times this season. Big difference.

Is not worth it to sell Kaka` with any price, because years of hard work to build the reputation that "Milan don't sell their stars" are ruined.

(Shevchenko is another case. We all know why he lefts).

And, I don't think the debate is on the money issue. I don't think Milan needs to sell their stars to pay off debt.

It's like saying Berlusconi is in financial trouble.

Every player is a risk, keeping Kaka is also a risk as his value will never be as high as it is right know. So lets not talk about risk.

Selling one superstar to bring in 4 other star players who are capable of becoming just as expensive and fundamental to the club is less of a risk then keeping one player.

That's a huge huge assumption you are making. It's like telling me if CHelsea sells their best player and brings in 4 worldclass players like Shevchenko will win everything.

We all know just what happen.

It's more than the money. Reputation, tactics, etc. we are not playing FM here.

And Kaka` is a Milan symbol. You associate Kaka` with Milan, just like you associate Maldini with Milan.

That is the price you haven't taken into consideration. If you take that into consideration, kaka may well worth 1000M, not 100M, because Kaka` is in everyone's head.

You buy 4 players: Ade, bla, bla, and bla: and people ask, "Who are they?".

You have 1 player: Kaka. Oh, the guy who plays for Milan?

that's the difference.

And people are going to do the same with Ronaldinho.

Unfortunately, I think you get plain wrong here...

so you really want to adopt Assnal's idea of football..

buy young players, develop them and then sell them?

now thats the recipe of FAILURE and Wenger is a witness

PS: IMO

I want Kaka' to stay to become the next symbol of Milan, i.e the next Maldini. And it is true, we don't sell players. However, if they want to leave, we don't have a problem selling. We let Rui Costa and Stam go when they wanted. Thing is, nobody ever wants to leave when they are really on top, so it is a strange situation to hear of a star player wanting to leave at this moment.
At the end of the day, nothing will happen and we're going to have a kick-ass lineup that hopefully will roll serie A.

Then you're 100% wrong. I'm not going to stand for this. I have done my research. If you like the others teams so much go be fans of them. You obviously don't care about Milan and the statements you make are classless.

Excuse me for vehemently opposing turning Milan into an Arsenal like club as you want to do.

Debt isn't a problem for Milan. Galliani pulled off the transfer of the year with Ronaldinho... with Kaka's help.

Why would Kaka want to leave?

Maldini has never flirted with his career saying that he dreams of playing for real madrid, or one day playing the EPL.

The player is loyal, but dont compare him to Maldini.

You have point, but at the same time Kaka's sale can be beneficial with 4 top acquisitions. U cant tell me that Kaka is bigger then 4 top players, which are definetely needed.

Chelsea and Real Madrid have the luxury to pay a crazy amount for one player because they have all the other components and depth whereas Milan simple dont.

Yes, but Kaka is proven world class, while many argue the Adebayor is a one season wonder... and the others you named are not even close to world class. Kaka is a superstar. Adebayor is not. Zapata is not. Van Der Vaart are not. Most people would say "who are they?" We get recognition for Kaka and that means money. We get the same with Ronaldinho.

We have all the superstars we need.

Wait, I heard at one point Maldini actually thought of playing for Leeds (someone mentioned that long time ago?) But I was a kid back then so I can't be for sure.

Again, yo uare assuming that you can sell Kaka` to get 4 top players considering:

1) Other clubs WILL sell.
2) They will still be top classes.
3) They fit in the system.

I don't think the assumption works here.
