Milan Youth Players

i'm fairly uninformed on the youth squads, primavera etc. So i was wonder who of our current primavera can we expect to be contributing to the 1st team soon? Anyone in next few seasons perhaps starting? How about players who recently graduated.

It's frustrating because players like foggia get loaned out and sold when there r worse players on our first team. And its hard not to get jealous when you see a team like barca produce xavi, iniesta, fabregas, puyol, bojan etc....

Was that on loan or permanently? He's promising though nothing special from what I've seen.

I like Andrea cosner. He was actually forward or offensive player but with Primavera in the competition in Malaysia, he played as right fullback. I just think that he could be a good fullback with not only defensive skills but also offensive skills.

I hope it's only a loan as he is still young. No way Milan sell player such in very young age.

The final phase of the U-19 tournament started today for Italy as they took on Greece. The match ended 1-1 with Paloschi equalizing with a 90th minute penalty. He played the whole game, as did Bruscagin and Darmian. Albertazzi did not play. The full report will be on the Uefa site later today.

The rest of the fixtures are as follows:

17/07/08: England vs Italy at 20:00 CET

MILAN -Today English tabloid 'The Sun' compiled a special Top Ten of ten Under 19 talents to follow carefully during the European championships held in the Czech Republic. The only Italian in the list is Alberto Paloschi, second behind Sinclair of Chelsea. The young Milan striker precedes the Greek Sotiris Ninis and the Spaniard Fran Merida. In the presentation, The Sun reminds of his debut with the Milan shirt, when he scored a goal just 18 seconds after coming on.

It's permanently, but we have an option to buy him back.

Tiziano Crudeli's son, Andrea, signed a permanent contract with us yesterday. He's a trequartista and born in 1991.

We've also signed Alessandro Zanier from Donatello Calcio. He's a goalkeeper and born in 1993.

Italy - England has just started. Darmian started at RB, Bruscagin at CB and Paloschi is partnered by Okaka up front. You can follow the match here(text only though)

The match drew 0-0. Paloschi played 83 mins, Darmian 90, Albertazzi replaced Bruscagin at the 65th minute.

I just watched the pictures from today's training, and Willy was there, so it's Pierre Aubameyang, who has been loaned out to Dijon - contrary to what Channel4 and La Gazzetta dello Sport has been writing.

Mitja NOVINIC, the player we brought in summer 2007 and who played for Allievi last season, will play for Primavera this season according to the official player's list in acmilan.com.

About the first friendly match, there was STRASSER who also brought to the game. I wondered who this guy is and searched for it in acmilan.com on player list section in each group age (season 07/08) from Primavera's untill Allievi's squad but couldnt find anything.

Today I found his name in Primavera players for season 2008/09. Did Milan sign him this year? Or was he being loaned out last year?

I am confused with his year of birth in Dijon official website. It says 1989. I think, he was born in 1990 but I cant find the info in acmilan.com as the 07/08 primavera squad is already gone and substituted by 08/09 squad.

No. We signed him almost two years ago from Kallon FC (yes, the club that former Inter player Mohamed Kallon founded). Some might remember him from the Trofeo Dossena tournament in 2007 - a tournament that we won by beating Atalanta in the final.
