Ancelotti On Two New Uruguayan Recruits
Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti is anticipating an even Serie A title race this coming season, while he also comments on the club’s two recent Uruguayan recruits.
»Comments (6) Print This Story Send To A Friend Contact Us galleria zoom The Rossoneri's pre-season preparations received a boost on Tuesday night when they emerged victorious in the annual Trofeo Tim, defeating both Juventus and Inter on penalties.

The tournament appeared to suggest that this coming Serie A season will be an exciting one, with Roma and Fiorentina also ready to challenge too.

"I think the next league season will be much more balanced compared to last year because all the teams have done good things on the transfer market and the quality has definitely improved,” said Ancelotti in the build-up to this week’s Moscow Tournament.

The Rossoneri will take on Sevilla, Chelsea and hosts Lokomotiv Moscow in the annual competition.

Ancelotti has also confirmed that new Uruguayan recruits Tabare Viudez and Mathias Cardaccio will train with the team. The former is a 19-year-old midfielder who has arrived from Nacional Montevideo. The latter, also a midfielder, is expected to soon complete his transfer from Defensor Sporting.

"The Uruguayans will train with us,” said Carletto.

“Cardacio is a national team player. Viudez, meanwhile, is an '89 player, he's a bit younger.

“They will train with us and then we will see in twenty days if he will train with the Primavera or if he'll stay with us."

They will train with us... So it isn't a deal yet? They're still on trial or something like that?

I'm GLAD Inter signed Ferrari. Bonera and Kaladze are still better than him. Now we can move to another defender (or not? blast...)

The thing that MGT needs to do now is to snap Sheva on loan before he joins Samp or something in Serie A.

By "us", he mean the senior first team....so they are not confirm going into our senior team yet, meaning they can be loaned out or with the youth team.

I am late but let me say this, I knew some one will surely come up with Nesta-13 & I had some thing to say about it. Surely Nesta will go down as one of the all time greats of the game. What a defender He is, for get about Kaka, Messi & C.Ronaldo, its more fun watching Nesta defending when 100% fit & specially along side Maldini, what a combination. He has won 2 league titles, 2 CL, 1 WC plus some the other titles. But on the other hand he missed
-the world cup final & semi-final,
-2 more Serie-A titles 2005 & 2006
-2 CL 2005 & 2006
-1 Euro Cup 2000
& if I am not mistaken he missed WC98 & Euro 2004 because of injuries. Just imagine how close he was winning all these titles? Forget those which he lost, he couldn't play in the WC which Italy won & this # 13 has some thing to say about all this disaster.

Just want to say that I do believe in this 'Numbers stuff'

They are simply disrespecting VDV, to be honest VDV is more talented and match winner than C.Ronaldo. His worth should be atleast 20 million pounds

I will have a nervous break down if ACM didn't sign a new gk. After all what exactly is the problem in signing Igor Akinfeev? Just sign him an for get about signing a new gk for the next 10-12 years as he is the next #1 gk after Buffon & Casilles

The main problem is that we already have Abbiati, Kalac and Dida. I'm not saying that they're better than Akinfeev, because they're probably not, but we can't have that many keepers in our squad. We struggle to sell Dida because of his high wages and the club doesn't have money to burn. Don't expect a new keeper this year...

Real Madrid have signed Van Der Vaart for 9 million Euros (+ 2 million based on appearances), now that's a real bargain!
