Yeah, Ivanovic is better than nothing, and maybe also better than Bonera or Kaladze.

#1 that would get the person FIRED.
#2 Milan would be extremely pissed to here this from a petty agent/personal assistant

and if indeed its personal assistant, its usually someone you can confide in. Someone that takes somewhat of a hypocratical oath (for doctors) and when you spill the one liners to the media like that, it has to be something similar from what Kaka said.
Diogo Kotscho made pretty much the same comments a few weeks back which were later refuted by Kaka's agent, who outright said there was no possibility of a deal. Kaka himself has until now only said he'd discuss with Milan and the only way he'd leave is the club decide to sell. The club has categorically rejected any negotiations for Kaka, saying it simply will not happen. Chelsea have also categorically rejected the possibility of a negotiation, saying we won't sell so they won't pursue further. Right now the only one who talks of a deal is Diogo Kotscho, who lets not forget, a year ago said Kaka's move to Real was immanent.

Kris and Koeke (I think) are probably right on the mark with the previous opinions that this is a matter of marketing and publicity to keep Kaka's name in the press (thus maintaining his market value).

Actually, it was the same guy last time too, Kaka's agent was the one who rejected the possibility of a deal.

Berlusconi has a net worth of around $10 billion (source) so I find it very odd that he'd risk looking like a cheap fool by selling his crown jewel. He might not want to put anymore money into the club anymore, but I doubt he sees it as his money machine. Its a hobby for him, and as long as its surviving, he doesn't want to lose his most prized possession. Relax, everyone. Kaka is going nowhere.

I think if Kaká was prepared to leave (as some rumours state – though I don’t believe it) and Chelsea or any other foreign club were willing to give us € 100 mio. I’d definately consider it, and in our current situation I’d probably take it. Though at first it’s an appauling thought I believe with that sort of cash we could really strengthen our side. After all, while it would sadden me to see a sympathetic player like Kaká leave, Milan comes first and the club winning things should mean more than keeping certain players. Though I want to stress that I’d never want to sell the likes of Maldini, whose a symbol and a legend of the club (which Kaká isn’t yet).

I wouldn’t want us to pay that sort of money for any player and I actually don’t think paying € 100 mio. for Kaká is a smart move. He’s not that young anymore and since he relies a lot on speed he probably wont last until his mid-30’s. Not to mention his growing injury problems.

But like Tony said, it’s already mid-August and selling him now would be crazy – and it won’t happen.

I think it's a great idea to employ one guy who keeps your market value high by creating a lot of crazy rumours - and then another guy who maintains a good relationship with the club by debunking those rumours (not sure if I'm being ironic here).

This is exactly my thinking. Berlu doesn't need 100 million and in fact would take the offer as a slap in the face. We're talking about a billionaire's ego! Even a garish amount like 100 million wouldn't sway Berlu into doing something he doesn't want to do. I'm not saying that Kaka won't eventually leave, but it would only happen in a situation like Sheva's - where the player wanted and requested to leave. Assuming Kaka is still happy at Milan, then he's going nowhere.

Also, I agree with whoever said that if Milan were to sell Kaka for 100 million - not much of that money would be spent on replacements. Seriously, we still haven't replaced Sheva and that was over TWO years ago!

Berlusconi has more then just a bit of many stashed away, hes the richest man in Italy and has a monopoly on the TV rights in Italy, which is why its so worrying that Sheva, Maldini, and Dida have not yet been replaced.

He may have lost some desire or is too preoccupied with other issues being the President of Italy and all. Fubtal becomes a small concern when your dealing with the economic recession, Poverty, or other National issues.

Actually, he talks about pre-Calciopoli Juve. Moggi's Juve.
Moggi was famous for selling some of his best players for world record prices, when they were 28-29.
He did it with Baggio, Zidane, Inzaghi etc.
