Ho-Young, it's not because some players were free or cheap that they're not good players or good signings ... I especially think about Flamini who seems to already become one of our important players !!

For Ivanovic, will come or not ?
I didn't care about our mercato since some weeks now and when I came back 2 days ago, I saw those rumors about him maybe coming, he would be a good player for our first team in long-term, but would he be a good player in short-term ?
I mean, he didn't play for more than 6 months ...

On our mercato: Ivanovic is the player we want, Galliani confirmed it. Now we will wait maybe untill the end of mercato to try to sign him. The news about us wanting Thiago Silva are good, as I trust Brasiliero in his player wiews.

I do not get why almost everyone here were yelling when we were trashed by Chelsea but nobody is talking about the game of sunday when we trashed Juventus with Bonera and Favalli(who isnt a cb) as our cb's....

I indeed think we should sign a topclass defender and it seems that the ivanovic deal isnt going to happen as Chelsea dont want to yield him,to bad because he is a very good one and young.

I just read at transfermarketweb that Lazio would like to exchange Stendardo for Brocchi and i read that Thiago Silva is coming in January,i hope so.

oh..if you guys want to now something about a dutch player like Huntelaar just ask i know everything about Dutch Players.

I have to disagree with you, I think this mercato has been very balanced with regards to experience vs skills vs youth.

You can't rebuild a team over night and expect to win the scudetto and the uefa cup.

Flamini - from a financial perspective, the best deal of the summer
- his only 23/24yrs old and has already improved our midfield
Zambr - on the wrong side of 30 but seems to getting better each game
- can play on both sides and can be pushed further up
- can cross and defend better than Oddo
- eventually we'll need a younger RB sub/future starter
Antonini - don't know much but from I've read one of Empolis best last season
- is under 30 and has a decent amount of serie-a experience
R80 - big marketing move and fan pleaser transfer
- a gamble but if it pays off we'll all be jumping up and down
Borrielo - another gamble but if he can duplicate last season, we'll all be smiling
Youth - Darmian, Urugyans, Paloschi - hopefully they get decent game time

The oldest players we bought/brought back from loan are Zambrotta and Abbiati, every other player is younger than 30

The key will be rotation and Carlo's willingness to rotate and try new things

question from me personally, you probably heard about the transfer of Van Der Vaart for just 9 millions to Real Madrid.
I personally thing that it's an amazing deal..Why didn't Milan go for the playet at this cost?

when the deal was done we already had R80.

and also, I think Vaart would rather link up with Robben, Sneijder and Ruud VN than Seedorf xD

we could have at least shown interest- then Real Madrid would be forced to pay more

Did anyone catch brazil-argentina todai? Crazi game! it was fun watching every player we have been linked with in the past 2-3 years play in one game. We got a glimpse of the brazilian talent and the argentinian talent, but we also saw ronaldinho and pato play.
based on todays game, there were a few things i noticed:
- pato is hungry and must start every game
- ronaldinho is only a fraction of his former self, the technique and skill is still there, but he is slow as hell. he looks like another version of seedorf. hopefully, he will ragain his fitness
- todai breno looked like roque junior ( was that his name?), the horrible brazilian defender that used to play for milan
- rafinha is absolutely amaziiiiiiiing, why we have not picked him up is beyond me. he is absolutely amazing, a ton of pace and heart, the closest thing that i have seen to a cafu replacement

In short, although i would be happy if milan picked up any player from the ones we saw todai, I would be most happy with picking up rafinha. this was the first time i saw him and i was genuinely impressed.
