Both Carlo AND the board are responsible. I mean ANY fool could have seen that the Sheva transfer was completely unnecessary and just complicates the team selection process. Same old problems with static players etc etc you'll know the drill.

What's worse though is that we couldnt create ONE single 100% chance against Genoa. I mean really how embarrassing is that ?

I dont think they can. Unless I'm mistaken, I thought a current trainer or one recently sacked trainer from any given club for the current season is inelligible as a replacement.

Be careful what you wish for. If Carlo gets sacked we may end up with Donadoni and then you really will be crying!!

The only benefit that would come from sacking Carlo is that it MIGHT mean fresher ideas. However, chances are that the new coach will take time to settle in, and Inter will be 36 points ahead by then. Today the problem was the shape of the team. As soon as we played with two strikers (who actually moved around and attempted to do things with the ball), we were dangerous. Like it or not, Seedorf is more attuned to how Milan play than Ronaldinho is currently. We have just made wholesale changes to our team in pre-season, and we expect Ancelotti to work wonders. Unfair. Sometimes I think maybe sacking Ancelotti would be good, but better judgement suggests otherwise.

Maybe that decision should have been made in the summer. Every defeat for us is harrowing, and takes a little bit more from a severely depleted team morale.

Good point. Think about how Pato missed a 1vs1 and someone said he was inexperienced and how it was Carlo's fault because he didn't get to more playing time.

Pato has been VERY VERY loose since April and May. I really don't think Pato is ready yet; he doesn't have the attitude to succeed.

I ask for patience, and that's because the players have just come back from international duty, hasn't had the chance to play together, takes time to gel, etc.

It's easy to point the finger to ANYONE now, anyone, but it's not always the best solution.

Let's hope that some trainings this week will help to see the team bouncing back. I just don't know who to blame: Most players on the field has played 3 times for the past week, so I can see how difficult it is for Carlo.

I ask for patience.

Thoughts are free. But however many rational arguments and ideas we put forward. Milan is in serious trouble at the moment. We have lost our identity and our transfers reflect this.

BOOOOOOMMMMM! The sage has spoken! You save me the commentary Hasan. I was WONDERING when you wuz gonna say something! Mark the words of what this man has said my fellow Milanisti. If you want and expect a quick change, you might as well call it a season and do something else.
Frankly there is soooo much games left, I personally dont think we're out of the picture. This game made it look very bleak I must confess.

The other alarming thing was that our forwards were camped in midfield at times. Our front trio is supposed to be a slick, one-two playing unit; instead, it was contesting (and losing) balls in midfield. This is a classic sign that the team is not used to each other. However, it also shows that perhaps we should play with a conventional 4-3-1-2 (like when Borriello and Pato came on).

That is so true. I mean, the situation can't be much worse than it is right now and I think it's time for a change. But Donadoni? What has he done as a coach to deserve to take over Milan? Nothing, absolutely nothing...

I find it funny when someone says that Sheva sucks when he has played 2*45min. Frankly I think Sheva shows promise, as he seems to work hard, he runs alot and looks for space constantly and really works hard. Did he get anything done with his work today? No, but that isn't his fault when the entire team has collapsed and doesn't create a single chance in first half. Still, I think Sheva was one of 2-3 players that actually tried today, and that counts for something when the rest doesn't!

However, I'm not sure if Sheva should be a starter or not, but frankly there is so much work that has to be done with this team at the moment, from just working on how the team should behave defending AND attacking, and the basics about how you can't show up for a Serie A match and get 3 points without breaking a sweat.

And lets be honest here, no one of us know whos to blame for the lack of workrate and movement. It's easy to blame the coach, but do we really think that Ancelotti told the team to not run and work? The management should be able to find out why this happened though, and fix it, and I expect a completely different display next match. Just show me determination, work, movement and passion!
