Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is following in the footsteps of Arsene Wenger as he shows his penchant for youngsters and signs a nine year old, according to reports.

A report by Lesdessousdusport.fr claims that the Italian club have already snapped up nine-year-old Edgardo Obregon.

The Mexican has already played for Chivas de Guardalajara and Barcelona. The youngster had trials at Milanello and Il Diavolo are looking to invest in him as one for the future.

Reports suggest that the Rossoneri have heaped high praise on Obregon and that he will be offered a place at the Milan academy to grow and develop his football, recieving the best coaching and support in the process.

However, Milan will need to be careful as putting too much pressure on the elementary school boy may back fire badly. Many will remember the story of Sonny Pike who signed for Ajax as a seven year old in the mid nineties, only for his dream to end up in smoke."

It would be great if Milan could capture somebody from this list - Frey ( good goal keeper is really needed ), Elano ( but it would be hard, because City wants to build strong team and they have money - selling Elano would be a step back for them ), Rakitic ( he could be new Boban, great and young player ) and Barzagli ( I dont know why they didnt buy him, he would be great addition, our defenders are old, he is 27 and Italian.

From your list only Frey would make sense, though I'm not sure he would leave Fiorentina - If they finish in the top four again I doubt it. Barzagli is completely overrated, when he doesn't have a great defender such as Cannavaro next to him, he's awful. He's no upgrade over Kaladze or Bonera, or Senderos. And we've now learned that Nesta can't be our only top CB, as he's too injury-prone, so better look elsewhere.

Well, it`s not bad to have quality players on bench + Seedorf is getting old. Ronaldinho could be great again, but who knows? Maybe he starts to enjoy again - no trainings, night clubs and stuff like that. Adriano is in the same city... Too bad Ronaldo isnt in Milano anymore, that would be great combination for them to go out and drink whole night in some of Milano`s night clubs.

Kidding... I just wanna say that you need to have quality on bench ( season is long ) and someone ready to replace Seedorf. It would be smart to buy Rakitic while he`s not too expensive. He`s already great and he could learn a lot from players like Ronaldinho, Kaka and Seedorf.

Rakitic is smart player, creator and he is young, very young. Cana is more like a destructor. Two good but different players. You cant compare them.

It wouldn't make sense to buy new middlefilders or strikers. With Pato, Sheva, Boriello and Inzaghi, there are enough good strikers. And don't forget Paloschi. The same thing in the middlefield: Kaka, Ronaldinho, Seedorf, Pirlo, Flamini, Ambro and Gattuso should be enough.
But I think to, that it would be a good idea to buy a defender. If not in this winter, then for next season. So it must happen with a keeper.
