Abbiati didn't exactly deliver a fascist salute a la imbecile Di Canio. He is a nationalist (something generally anathema to me) and devout. He may also believe that a country is defined by its military prowess, which makes me physically ill.

you cannot excuse this devastading bull**** by Abbiati, you cannot concede anything to these bastard beasts because it is completely demonstrated that fascism was, it's and forever will be wrong, history's said. There are not democratic answers for them, they dont' want people like me, I will be in jail (just like millions of people at their times) if these bastards take the control, so if they look up every man that thinks not in their way, then there shouldn't be any democratic tolerance with the black ignorance. No way, imo they are OUT of the world and I'll be always rough with them, extremely rough. They have no right to live in a democratic country after that they did and after that they still believe in.

Nonsense, that's just incorrect. Nobody said Abbiati should be killed (I'm sure the mods would've reacted then), I said I wished he would be condemned for making such statements. Saying that I'm more fascist than Abbiati is just stupid and very insulting. And just because I'm from a country that hasn't suffered a lot from fascism, am I not allowed to despise fascism as much as others?

EDIT: Notice how Abbiati's disgusting statements have driven me to include Lucarelli among my "Fave Players".

Even communism is tolerated in the modern world or even flocked to ( China anyone?? ) but there is are examples of bad things communist countries do too? ( cambodia?? )

Image is not really impt IMO as long as u demonstrate a capacity to go the extra mile for the club and perform as to what is expected on the field.. off the field, its between you, the media & God..

To answer your last question: agreeing with "the idea of Country First" makes you a bad person, hating Bush makes you a good one.

I don't wanna get too political (as that's not the point of this forum) but since Abbiati chose to get political himself, I just wanna say: What right do I have to attack (verbally, of course) someone who embraces fasscism (or at least the main ideas)? The right, and duty, of any decent human being to stand up to that sort of extremists. If you don't do that, more people will start to sympathize with fascism, nazism, and so on.

And there's a huge difference between fascism and communism. The latter is wants equality for all humans, the former includes nationalism, militarism and of course authoritarianism. And don't confuse the contents of an ideology with the misdeeds done by those who profess to represent it.

First of all, when a someone says "Sure I condemn the bad parts of such and such....but I embrace the good" it basically means I'm for it but I must condemn the bad parts because otherwise people will think I'm nuts. So, to the naive ones who are still defending Abbiati please "read between the lines" and understand this is someone who believes in this ideology and hides behind the Country First slogan in order to defend his backwards way of thinking. Shame on you Abbiati. Shame on you.

I'm from a tiny dot of a country in the world map called Singapore.. Look at the map, I bet you cant even find it. I would love my country to be no.1 in the world (nationalism?) i would also love my country to have the no.1 military in the world (militarism?) and my country more or less run on authoritarian rule by a Lee Family (authoritarianism?) and I'm very happy living in this Island state known as one of the safest countries in the world ( you can be drunk, and walk ard in your pyjamas to 7-11 @ 3am and you're still more likely to get struck by lightning than being robbed ) has one of the most consistent economy growth in the world ( atleast 3.5% growth per annum ) but does that make me a fascist or fascist sympathiser?

First of all I know perfectly well where Singapore is, so you lost that bet. If you think your country is superioir to all others, and you think belonging to your nation is more important than anything else - then you're probably a nationalist.
If you think your country should maintain a strong military capability and be prepared to use it aggressively to defend or promote national interests - then you're a militarist.
And if you want your country to be run authoritatively by one family, then (obviously) you believe in Authoritarianism and (likely) some sort of monarchism.

Adding all these things together - I'd say you come off as at least a fascist sympathizer.

And it may be that you have a good life in Singapore, and you feel safe. But so did the vast majority of the people in the Third Reich (especially compared to the years before 1933). Yet ask the jews, romas, homosexuals and handicapped people in Germany how they felt - not to mention all the people affected by the war started by fascists (WW II).

I don't mean to draw cheap comparisons between Singapore and Nazi Germany, but it proved my point.
