Santacroce and hamsik would solve many things in our team, but they are impossible to get. Only team that can buy them is Juve coz of the Napoli connections. Not Milan and Berlusconi.

argh, santacroce is such a natural fit for milan too....half italian-half brazilian.

He is ronaldinho and nesta's lovechild

zapata is the same as santacroce .... can't buy both .... can't start with both ... all we need is zapata ( ~15 mil ) and 2 good talents ( a central midfielder ) and ( an attacker) ... could be inler/m.fernandes + di santo/qualiagrella ... how about getting zapata + inler + qualiarella .. i bet udinese won't be a pain in the a** anymore .. u know that getting taye taiwo would be a fantastic idea .. he is a freaking horse

We can fitt the team with this: Boruc, Dossena, Sactacroce/Zapata, Aquliani/Montolivo. And we have the bst squad in the world, and we added 3 italians to the team. Those are the players worth investing, we shouldnt let Dossena go to L'pool, maybe ac Milan can make him come back to Italy. I consider him worthy of Milan's LB.

-------------boruc--------------
-zambrotta-nesta-zapata/sc-dossena-
-------------pirlo----------
-----rino/flamini---aquilani/montolivo-----
------------kaka'------
-----pato------dinho--------

I read the Corriere Dello Sport article saying Milan are targeting Ramos AND Fabregas!

For a moment i thought i was reading the fantasy signings thread here on MM

I think we can safely say that we won't be buying either of those players, no matter how much we'd all like them. Shame though, great idea and direction for the club.

It would cost us 100mln, no way. There are defenders that will be better then model Ramos ( Santacroce ). Fabregas in a different story, he isworth 50mln, but will not be sold. Unless Milan signs Wenger!

Zapata and Santacroce are compatible. The latter is able to play at righback meaning Zambro moves over to the left. maldini cant play every game and who knows how many games Nesta is likely to play. Whenever Nesta retires we would have a ready and fully adapted replacement.

If Milan is going to sign Ramos over Santacroce and Zapata, Milan is really going after making themselves the PR team of the century instead of the BEST team of the century.

As I really don't see Ramos better than Santacroce or Zapata.

I think inorder for Ramos to come to Milan, it will need around 45M or more with a big fat contract. I am sure the money being spend on Ramos, MIlan can sign both Santacroce and Zapata.

As for Cesc, if Milan is to sign him, they are better off signing someone like Hernanes from Brazil, as he is the cheaper and better version.
More importantly, if 40-50M for Cesc, why not pay Roma that kind of money to get De Rossi and Aqualini

all very unrealistic names, Ramos, Fabregas, Santacroce, Agger, De Rossi, Aquilani, Montolivo... Not a chance in the world that we sign such young and expensive players.

Milan will go for the more experienced and out of favor at their club players. Or for some small team players who arent rated higher as 10m. Maybe a free transfer like flamini will pop up now and then but no way we gonna sign +25m players as mentioned above.

Hernanes will be cheaper but he's not better, neither for that matter is Aquilani. What have either of them done compared to Fabregas? While i have no doubt that the Brazilian & the Italian have skill and can develop, Fabregas is able to dominate/orchestrate matches of importance right now, not to mention the influence he had on Spain in winning Euro 2008.

Fabregas is the better player right now, to say otherwise is just ridiculous.

It depends on which position you see Ramos playing. If you see him in a CB position, then yes Santacroce and Zapata are just as good as the Spaniard. For me i see Ramos as a RB and in that department he's much better than both of these players. There are few players who play with as much energy and drive as Ramos does and having him bombing up the right-flank can only be a good thing.

This however is academic as we all know we won't shell out the money for either of these players.

Real were the only ones in for Agger and that was a false rumour anyway. Benitez doesn't want to sell Agger anyhow, these rumours only came about because of the Dane's injuries had stopped him playing regularly. The recent injury to Skrtel will let Agger have a sustained run in the side, so all will be well again.

Maldini will retire, and Milan needs one CB to fill that place. I would choose Santacroce, but Berlusconi cant sign players from Napoli.
