Milan - Udinese Dec 21 2008

Our last game to close out the miserable year of 2008. We have a long injury list, and to make the matter worse, Max and Zambrotta are out due to suspension. Kaka has resumed the training session so I think he'll be able to start. I really hope that Cardaccio can take a part in this game, but I think Carletto will stick to his safety first tactics and field Emerson instead. And when it does, Lord have mercy. . .

PREDICTION

Milan are hurting right now, what with all the injuries they have. Udinese have a terrific trio of strikers, and they will showcase those three men to devastating effect.

Milan 1-2 Udinese

This is sad Goal.com a very pro Milan website are against us LOL..

I wont lie i think we will lose this one too.

Impossible to predict given our current form. Let's just hope we win and Inter/Juve screw up.

Seriously, either something's wrong with our medical team or someone has done some kind of voodoo on our players.
It's sad to see Galliani reiterating his point that he won't be signing any players in Jan when it's clear that we need reinforcements. Depending on players like Emerson will be close to doomsday. I hope he's the 1st player Milan gets rid of for the start of next season.
List of players who should leave:
Maldini
Favalli
Emerson
Kaladze
Cardaccio ( loan )
Viudez ( loan )
Shevchenko
Dida
Senderos

I think the aim of this weekend's game is to not concede at all. Our defence has been horid as of late. Every game is the same old tune. "We could not take most of our chances" that's a lame excuse for a club like Milan

“Abbiati, Maldini, Jankulovski, Antonini, Kaladze, Favalli, Pato, Ronaldinho and Kaką will surely play. Flamini will not be available, whereas today we shall evaluate the conditions of Pirlo, Emerson and Seedorf.” said Ancelotti!!

Janklovski in the midlefield ????

Hello, Xudong! Long time no see. my man for stream links in the middle of the old fashion MM forum transmissions of Milan games when people didnt watch streams as much as these days. Back in the good times, haha.

I think we have ready Pato, Kaka', Dinho, Seedorf, Flamini, Zambrotta is suspended!, Jankulovski, Maldini, Ambrosini... we need to win no matter how. And pray Juve II ( Siena ) can draw with Merda tonight.

Udinese will score on San Siro in 300% sure. Di Natale, Quagliarela, Pepe... vs super left side of Marek-Kaladze... A LB that tends to turnm his back to the shot he is trying to block and that jumps to the head duels with also his back turned, and cant make offside line even if his life depends on it. And CB that marks the best forward in serie a ( along with Ibra ) - Amauri - by standing 5m in front of him on the cross.

P.S.

According to Rinnogattuso and the news I havent seen yet ( Flamini not fit )it will be:
--------------abbiatti------------
--antonini-maldini-kaladze-favalli-
--------------X1--------
------X2----------Marek----
-------Kaka'---Dinho-----
------------Pato-------

I assume it will be: x1= Ambro, X2= Seedorf.

its good ( ONCE AGAIN;M BRAVO CARLO!!!!!) that we played Seedorf in coppa uefa match ( that we didnt win and now we say it doesnt matter, like in coppa italia vs Lazio ) so he is doubtfull for udinese, a game that is tough and we are on -9. Brilliant move once again. For me that is so absurd and stupid I cannot even think about it for long.

Favalli did well in Serie A this season! Why can't people understand this and always look at only from his age?

Yes,yes. Trio magnifico Kala-Favalinho-Marek, helped by unfit Pirlo and most likely Seedorf will also be on the left with Dinho. On the piutch, after forst 15min of "tactics" it will look like this:
-----Antonini-maldini-kala-favalli-
----------pirlo( 10m from Maldini and Kaladze)-----
----------------Marek----
--------------Seedorf-----
------------------Dinho-------
----Kaka'----
-------------Pato-----------

Then "we wil lack some compact in our team.."

Pirlo is most likely to be on the bench and Grande Emerson insead of him,or Sheva in 4-2-3-1 whay not,Udinesse defence is terible if we have constant impact that will produce 2-3 goal's i'am sure..

Regardless of whom Carlos played or didnt play in the "uefa cup-waste-of-time", we were bound to be short-handed today, and personally, I am happier with Seedorf out of the game, than in it, based on his current form.

Better that he come into the game in the 2nd half, than tire early/potentially injure himself vs Udinese...The midfield is already looking "molasses like" with Emerson and Pirlo both, and we will need a "Cardaccio" to give us some pace, and bite...though I think Carlo will probably field Marek, or another more "experienced" player over the youngster from Uruguay.

Another loss, either of the game, or points, looms for us with this depleted side....and a Udine who might be goal shy at the moment, but have in Di Natale, a player who will certainly run rings around our ancient back line.

Ah well...at least there is the winter break..and I can forget about football until early Jan, and concentrate on the many parties I will be attending this Christmas in Jamaica.

One party tonight, one tomorrow in the day, and more to follow in the week!

Oh...and FORZA MIIIILAN!! Happy Holidays to us all, win lose or draw.

Actually Favalli was horrendous this season, always being caught out of position and giving the ball away randomly. It was in his first season he was good...and got the Favalinho nickname cuz of his goalscoring prowess.

If Favalli was horrendous this season, it would be super impossible that Milan could be the best defence in Serie A before Maldini/Kaladze came back to the first team.

He did average performances (not bad perfomences especially horrendous which is extremly far away from the fact he was this season) and also good even some superb performances. Of couse the team as general helped the defence but we can see the difference easily when Bonera and Favalli (as CDs) were out of the game : very bad defence.

Favalli is not a great defender but he is also not a bad one. His experience prevent him to be a bad CD. The point is : don't judge the book from its cover (read : don't look only at his age!!!)

ps : I am talking here about Favalli as CD not fullback.
