Seems our name is linked with a number of players right now in the press. Personally, I think Agger would be a good buy for this season if we can get him, though it seems unlikely. Alex for next season would probably be my number 1 target during the summer as he should be available and has great potential.

We realistically need a left back although both Bonera (not so well) and Zambrotta are both capable there. Favalli is an alternative as well, as against smaller teams he can be useful (e.g. Udinese).

I really don't see the point in saying anything about Pennant and Neil, as neither are adding anything to our squad.

What is the Pennat and Neil thing about???

Neil is no better than Darmian or even Favalli in the middle and Pennant, r u kidding me?
This guy is crap, pure crap, yes once in a full moon, he will play well but thats about it.
FOr crying out loud he is a lesser version of Seedorf. I would rather see Milan bring back Abate and Di Gennaro than Pennant

Brance, the merda director, said merda are searching for players like in past 3-4 years, between 26-27 years old who fit the sistem of their planned play.

We miss this:
a) actuall search for players ( which means to WORK YOUR JOB properly)
b) the "26-27" part
c) sistem ( we have no sustem, just onr formation that lasts 7 years and its name is - Pirlo )
d) any kind or rational and precise plan

Are you sure? I read an artical a couple of years ago about analphabets and I really think he was on that list...

I don't see us getting n e one this mercato...even though we do need players.

Ah well, let's hope Nesta comes back from injury sooner than expected.

Yeah, let's accept, we HAVE Thiago Silva (at least the mgmt said so), and even though it'll still be in July, the mgmt will say "we already bought a reinforcement in defense", so no more centre-backs this winter.

I do hope for Agger though (but honestly, is there no better options available than a first-team centre-back who is in a leading EPL team, who are now chasing what they haven't got for some 20 years?).

Hopefully Nesta will be back soon, and Beckham may prove some use (still, I hope, won't I?)

I doubt this very much, but i wonder if Grosso would want to leave Lyon and join us? He'd be a better left-back than any player we currently have and it would mean Marek could be moved into midfield.

I also wonder if we could Zapata on loan until the end of the season. As i see it he's not being used by Udinese because of his recent injury (though i don't know if he's still injured) so maybe some first team football could benefit both us and the player.

A back 4 of Grosso-Zapata-Nesta/Bonera-Zambrotta isn't so bad.

While we are linked to a 30+ Cannavaro, Pennant and Neil.

Juve are lined to a young 6 ft 2 defender (who happens to have the ability to play at leftback/wing). Oh yes he is also the captain of PSG and was the youngest Ligue 1 Captain at 17 or something. Just shows, where we will be in 5 years from now and where other clubs will be.

I've been reading your posts all the time and they have all been the same pessimistic "we only get oldies/ crap players".....but you know what?...........YOU'RE RIGHT!!!

How the **** could we be linked to Cannavaro, Neil and Pennant If this were 2005 I' would have laughed them off as goal.com's usual desperate attempts to get clicks but after buying Vieri, Emerson, Olivera, Favallinho, Grimi (never used) viudez & cardaccio (the invisible twins ) and of course the biggest one hit wonder since the song they play at the Night At the Roxbury- Borriello- I tend to believe rumors linking us to crap players more than those (very few) linking us to the Benzemas the Aguero's and the CR7's.

Over the past years Milan had vanished as a transfer destination for the top tier players......granted sometimes the players themselves admit that they could have joined Milan but to me as a simple man on the ground these links seem unsubstantial.

Other than crap/mediocre players we seem obsessed with signing players that will sell our jerseys but won't necessarily HELP THE TEAM WIN STUFF......by that I MEAN RONALDINHO AND BECKHAM BOTH UNECESSARY AND BOTH HAVE UNBALANCED THE TEAM. People will argue that R80 has been great and I'd be the first to agree....but the thing is R80 would be great in ANY team BECAUSE he is Ronaldinho.....but our PROBLEMS that COST US POINTS still exist....no WC GK/STRIKER/Cluttered midfield/NO WIDTH (save Zambrotta who is himself decaying albeit slowly) and a paritally dead defense......it is simply ridiculous that a 40 year old is currently our best defensive option

This is not to take away from the good signings we have made like Pato, Zambrotta and hopefully Thiago Silva and Ronaldo for the latter part of the '07 campaign. However to me there is no big club without at least ONE established WC striker and at least TWO fantastic defenders....not even Real Madrid....by my definition we aren't a big club. We have one great up and comming striker in Pato and ONE WC defender in Nesta...that's it.....Zambrotta is decent and the rest of them aren't at WC level, few are great (perhaps Bonera) and the rest are crap...the icing on the cake was to parody out own transfer strategies and buy back one of our own formerly world class strikers after he was clearly washed up.....People on this forum hate me for my fanatical support of Ronaldo but I can gurantee that Ronaldo Right Now in his current physical condition would have DOUBLE THE GOALS $#!tvac has atm.....hell he'd have more even if he was still in crutches

You are right and the answer is just one:

Berlusconi doesnt hand over enough money and Galliani is not working hard enough and is enjoying the luxury on ac Milan. Same goes to non exsistant coach.
