Sincerely, I prefer to sell Seedorf (that Premiership clubs will pay a lot for ...), Ambrosini (even if he did all these years with us, always was a pro but ... it would be his last sacrifice for Rossoneri ? lol), Jankulovski (I hoped we would sell him some years ago when there were rumors of some Italian clubs interested), Shevchenko (nothing to say there ...), Inzaghi (same as Ambrosini, and I'm pretty sure that there would be one or two clubs ready to pay for him) ... and then add, maybe less players than sold but young and strong players.

But no way I would sell Kaka' in the current situation !!
You sell your best player at the best price when your team is at his best (so when your best guy is the less needed), so Kaka' will maybe have to be sold in 3-4 years, but anyway, I would really like to see Kaka' in Milan until his end of carrier ...

About the guys on top I mentionned: Seedorf could be sold for 15M, Ambrosini 5M, Jankulovski maybe 6-7M if we're good in negociations lol, Inzaghi and Sheva reunite would be about 10-15M ...

With that, you can buy young prospects (one striker*, one left defender, one defender, oh and also a GK) ... and that's all, our midfield is complete anyway, and especially with the possible return of Gourcuff and/or other players on loan, we already have Mattioni and Thiago Silva as young players for our defense.

* In attack, we would have Borriello and Pato in our strikers, so no need to have 5 strikers, our formation needs one, so our team needs 3, no more.
Let's not forget Paloschi so that we wouldn't have to spend so much actually !!

That could give something like (totally unrealistic anyway as that won't happen):

- Abbiati, GK
- Zambrotta, Nesta, Kaladze, Thiago Silva, Mattioni, Antonini, LB, CD (maybe not needed if we buy Agger in this mercato)
- Flamini, Gattuso, Pirlo, Emerson (sic, I forgot him lol), Kaka', Ronaldinho, Gourcuff, if we feel it's needed, add a young DM/CM
- Pato, Borriello, Paloschi

21 players, you add 3 players from our Primavera, totally included in the team, and used as the subs of subs ... and that gives you a complete squad without spending so much. If you have an injury-crisis, you can invest this way some money again in the following winter mercato to fill the blanks.

My idea is to sell Kaka, and replace him by calling back Gourcuff. Gourcuff would play in Kaka position, and it will be fine.

From Kaka money, we can buy a great center forward, and we are complete!

There are few things Kaka must carefully consider before moving to city:

1. The competitiveness of the team. The City has a long, long way to go before becoming a team that's capable of winning domestic and European competitions. They only have Robinho and SWP that have some big stage experience. There's a rumour that there'll be a clausul in the contract that City must be able to qualify for UCL in 2 seasons. That will be a herculean task. In the beginning of Roman's era, Chelsea had a more solid basis of players than The City does now. Plus it takes an excellent coach to lead the star-studded team to glory, and with all due respect, I think Hughes is not the right one.

2. EPL has a very different approach toward the game. It's faster and demands more physical strength. We have read the comments made by Galliani how Kaka needed to be protected by the refs from harsh tackles he often got. I will be different in England as the refs wave play-on more often there.

3. Shevchenko's experience. Even Kaka himself said that he learn something from Sheva's embarassing spell in England. Sheva moved to Chelsea after 7 glorious years in Italy and at the age of 29, it isn't as easy to adapt to a new environment as when you're a youngster. Okay, Kaka is 2-3 years younger but the rest of the scenario is just the same.

The sad about this Kaka thing is that, we(Milan) used to be the man if not the biggest man in football, where other clubs, even Juve, Real and others would not even dare to come out and say someone from Milan wants to play for us and we will sign him for xyz...B/c they were gentlemen but most of all, they were afraid Milan will sign all their superstars from them in an act of revenge.
Look at how pathetic we are now, a recently boom team in relegation battle in the EPL is trying to sign/steal one of our brightest star and what did Berlu said, "Kaka might leave." , what did Galli said, " we had a meeting with Man City officials as a gesture of goodwill b/c they visited us.." I mean come on now, what happened to us, I would rather have Galli comes out and say that, "Kaka is going nowhere, and since Robino wants to play with Kaka, maybe we should sign him."
I bet that if Galli said that, Man City will not even dare to come to Milan.

I really miss those good old days, where Milan is not a pushover

Please, Lebanese, it takes a brain the size of a Merda to that

Much as I love to see the Pirlo-Seedorf and Guly-Coco swap again, as the years go by, Uncle Fester is noticeably not getting any smarter

To me, I really think Kaka is staying put, as he declared he wants to be a Milan symbol.

Could this be Galli way of getting Micah Richards?????

Abu Dhabi withdraws $150mn bid for Kaka
by Anil Bhoyrul on Thursday, 15 January 2009

Manchester City has withdrawn its world record $150 million bid to sign Brazilian superstar Kaka, according to a senior source close to the club’s owners.

The Abu Dhabi-owned club tabled the bid earlier this week, with Kaka, currently playing for AC Milan, saying he wanted to stay at the Italian club until he retired from the game.

It had been expected that further talks with his representatives would take place on Thursday.

But the well-placed source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Arabian Business: “The deal is off, and the offer is no longer on the table. The club is now pursuing another striker which it is very close to signing. Manchester City is about to unveil a new striker, but he is not called Kaka.”

It is understood the new striker being pursued by the club also plays in Italy, though is described as “not in the Kaka league”.

Kaka had been offered a world record $731,000 a week salary to join Manchester City.

Reports in the UK suggested that although the 26-year-old had rejected the move, his Italian club may be willing to negotiate a transfer given the vast sums involved – and that detailed clauses to facilitate the move were still being ironed out between the two clubs.

Some pundits believe AC Milan may be holding out for an even bigger transfer fee.

However, the source told Arabian Business: “They won’t be getting any money from Manchester City; the club is now talking to someone else and the offer is not there anymore.”

Asked whether there were any circumstances under which Kaka could still end up at Manchester City, the source said: “For that to happen AC Milan would have to come forward and say they want to sell the player.”

LOL 731000 USD a week pretty much that would make 38 mil a year. now this is a total bullsht

or Adriano or lavezzi. they have got money. but if money proves anything it would proves inter pursuit for success. more than 16 years spent over 800 mil USD and all they got 1 uefa cup and 2 italian cups.
man city need to build for the future and it takes more than money to come up with a successful team and let us face it, man utd, liverpool, chelsea, arsenal. man city will need to get at least 14 players to be compared to those teams . micah richards, jo, robinho those are a joke players. who would risk his career over something uncertain? being the king of milano aint this easy i dont think money would bring kaka glory in england!

i hope these reports are true but i cant see it coming. though everyone is talking about it but to get a player like agger need more than meeting with an agent but to convince a club to let go
