Sheva wanted to leave that's why we let him, Kaka said he wanted to grow old with MIlan(not that he couldn't change his opinion, just like Sheva) but he's 26 year old they're not crazy to sell him at this age(even if he wanted to) he still has a lot to give to Milan. And if he wants to leave you couldn't blame the management for that of course they will sell him. Even the fans will give up on him in the same way they gave up on Sheva.

It's probably the fact that medias really insist (Italian ones too this time) and that there were no announcement from Berlusconi and/or Galliani to keep fans cool ...

Maybe Milan got money from Dinho's and Beck's commercials, tv's etc. And invested in Mattioni and Agger ( WHO IT SEEMS LIKE WE ARE BUYING FOR 8MLN BUT NOONE CARES AS KAKA' IN IN DOUBT ).

But really, really, if Kaka' leaves Milan it will be a sader day then when the great Sheva left.

That's exactly the reason why everyone is worried. The minute this story broke I was expecting someone from Milan to say the usual "Kaka will not be sold at any price." Instead it was Kaka saying "I would like to grow old here but if they want to sell me..." Now every news outlet in Italy and England is saying Milan want to sell and it is up to Kaka to make the decision. Whether this is true or not, it is different from the usual media rumors. And if it is not true Milan has handled the situation horribly (there has not been one comment in the last 3 days from anyone in Milan management).

The reason I am so despondent about all this is because selling Kaka' signifies defeat on many fronts.

First, it means Serie A can now definitely not compete with the Premiership. For that matter neither can La Liga. Just look at the stars that (can) swell the ranks of the Premiership teams: C. Ronaldo, Robinho, Kaka’, Buffon, Fabregas, and Torres.

Second, it would be a damning indictment of the iniquity of our top brass, which have fed us lies for over three years now. This team lies ravaged by injuries and doddering defenders. Galliani and Berlusconi enjoy their hookers and hotels, while we fans wait to hear news of signings that will never materialize. At this rate, we would be better off supporting teams in Serie B, fighting to stay alive as the corruption of bureaucrats and officials deal their hopes increasingly fatal blows.

Third, it means Milan is now a selling club and buying Beckham to placate fans is certifiably insane.

Fourth, football in general is not about Maradona, Pele, or Rivera, or those enduring memories of Baggio missing a penalty in 1994, Rossi firing Italy past everyone in 1982, or Cannavaro lifting the World Cup; it is about which team can whore itself the most convincingly to the highest bidder. As the economy and other areas of the world crumble around us, football is happy to live in delusion, perpetuated by hollow myths of its own strength. How I wait for the day when football becomes bankrupt financially. Morally it’s already there.

Just some of my bitter thoughts…

This article, put online this morning, may be a clue to make understand to fans that Kaka' won't be sold ...
Shevas story was a very different one. His wife calls the shots in the house, Sheva is just a ***** in the house. Sheva also was a friend of Abramovic and bla bla bla you know the story.
Kaka is different, he has nothing in MAn City that would pull him in. Thats why he said, I dont want to go but if they sell me there is nothing he can do about it. I saw the interview

Latest report from the Corriere Dello Sport:

http://www.corrieredellosport.it/Not...ol+Manchester»

The translation is poor. It basically says Milan have not given Kaka and his representatives permission to speak with Man City. Here is the Google translation:

"Kaką? If we are to speak with Manchester '
A spokesman for the Brazilian Diogo Kotscho, adds a new episode in the soap opera: "The Milan has not given us permission to meet with the City. If we will see their offer. The money? We need to see the project ... "
MANCHESTER, January 15 - 'Kaką know of Manchester City but Milan has not given us permission to speak with them, so do not meet them. " To write another page of what is becoming the telenovela Kaką we think his spokesman, Diogo Kotscho, interviewed by the BBC. "If Milan leaves us talk - he continued - we can see what gives us the City."

Kotscho also added that many will not be enough money to convince Kaką to make the big leap: "We have to see if the project were to become a club of Champions League, one of the greatest team in the world and stay there long."

I'm going to vomite with these declarations "money doesn't count, only the sport project ...", Kaka' already earns 7 or 8M per year to play football !! Of course money doesn't matter, 8 or 15M, what's the difference now when you're so rich ?!

Completely ridiculous ...

PS: Not only for Kaka', but it's ridiculous from all these people !!

GeoTav, have you heard much about the Inter & Benzema links? I was wondering how much Karim would cost.

Aulas simply said that there were some clubs interested, including Inter as well as Barcelona, Madrid, MU. He added that it would be possible to acquire Benzema at the next summer mercato only if a club pay 100M, if they're not ready to pay that, he'll stay one more year ...

Manchester City should come in that story ... to take a NO from Benzema, umh actually I'm even not sure he would say no, he's so stupid ...

Sheva was a completely different story as his wife wants him to leave and Roman is his personal friend and told him he wants Sheva as Chelsea Manager one day.

To be honest, if we are not 9 pts behind Inter and not in CL, these Kaka stuff would not even happen. Man City is just doing all they can to distract Milan players and unsettle Kaka, the sad thing is that Galli and co is not doing a thing to stop them. Kaka himself have came out and said he wants to be the Captain of MIlan.... whats more do you want from him?

I really can't believe why you guys believe Kaka will leave this time as the man himself came out right away that he wants to retire in Milan.

Don't believe anything Hughes and the Man city people and the media are saying. THink logicially, other Man City targets are Santa Cruz, Parker... they can't even make the bench in Milan.

I for one believe that Kaka will stay in Milan as long as Milan win the UEFA CUP and back in CL next year.

The other thing is that if officials from one club calls Galli and told them we would like to visit you and discuss certain players, do you think Galli and co will say, GO TO HELL KAKA is not for sale.

As for Berlu's comment, first, he was asked a question during a press conf about Italy not Milan, second, as the head of state, he cannot say anything that hint he is the owner of a team or company, just remember that.

I think all these stories of Kaka are mainly due to; there is no huge transfer news this Jan as clubs tend to have no money to buy.
2. Milan is struggling in Series A, as 9 pts behind Inter and only have one win in last 4 matches.
3. Milan is not in CL.
4. Man City officials met with Milan officials, and Man CIty people kept going on about getting Kaka.(that could be their way of getting fans to watch the team, as their team is in the relegation zone)

=> "We're evaluating it" ...
