Psychologically, he is all I hate in football players ... he's the same kind of person than Cristiano Ronaldo actually. At start, he was pretty modest, but since 1 year, I can't watch, listen to and read any interview from him as he pisses me off !!

He's a fantastic player (still has to prove himself in a major championship and in French NT), but he's not the kind of players we usually have in our team ...

150 million euros for Kaka? That's like £135 million ... that's alot to turn down. Shame they don't want Ronaldinho or Seedorf for that much, i'd pack their bags for them for that price

If that price is real, i can't see us saying no to that.

150M to sell Kaka' and then used to give a new contract to Gourcuff, buy Villa (to play with 2 strikers) or Silva (to play with Ronaldinho on left, Silva on right, Gourcuff as a masterpiece protected by Gattuso-Flamini), or why not let's be mad Messi, making the best defense of the world ... but even like that, we would have lost Kaka'

You mean decent ones? Just kidding!

If you look at Kaka, he wasn't proven in a major championship or the Brazil senior team (though he obviously was at the other national levels). But if you mean in terms of attitude i guess you're right, we don't really get cocky players. Although we were pretty close to getting Ibrahimovich, which would have been a departure and a half from the attitude of the players we usually get!

Yes it's about his attitude ... and Ibrahimovic didn't come whereas he was almost ours, so he wasn't a good player for us because of this kind of attitude

All,

First off, there are two rumors going around the first being Agger. I think this would be a really good start of building up the defense. That would give us Agger, Thiago Silva, Nesta as viable options in the middle for next year (I'm thinking Agger would go in the middle right away). Also, I get the feeling Dossena may be involved in the talks as well. He is very unsettled at the moment and it very well may happen.

Second, I've read so many rumors online regarding Kaka. I think every Milan fan would be upset to see him leave as he has meant so much to the club. BUT, let's take a look at this. If Man City is going to dump 120M Euros on one player, this cash can easily be turned around to build up the squad that we are all looking for. Being on this forum, i've seen people post their dream lineup to the point in which it looks like the UEFA Best XI of '09. Guess what, it's not possible! With 120M, top quality player transfer fees range from 20-35M Euros. If you do the math, we are looking at 4 top, world class players.

GK, D, STRIKER. These are needs we have. All, we have to remember, the dream partnership between Kaka and Ronaldinho is also not working to full effect either.

I would be sad to see him leave, but lets get our heads out of our asses. If management knew what they were doing, they could turn that into something really good for the squad.

IF THEY DONT RE-INVEST, and take the money and run, that's a different story. The club would officially be tagged as a joke and need an overhaul for Berlusconi and Galliani.

Ah they added some details ...

Day by day i read the news of kaka this is the first time i feel like kaka will be no longer with us (still a bit hope he stays) to me it feels like kaka is dissapointed that milan are even willing to negotiate with man city no matter how big the offer is imagine someone bieleving in you for so many years and than one day they turn their backs on you i know the money is a HUGE amount but look at maldini money can never buy what he did and i was confident kaka would do the same until now the club has turned its back on him he has ALWAYS said he will never leave unless milan is willing to let him go and this seems like the breaking point.....one reason i like milan is because we VALUE our players unlike other bug clubs whose players are treated like property and milan seeme to be on the verge of breaking their own moral code i dont know how much i will follow or watch milan..atleast for a while if kaka is sold

The problem is not only that we might (or whatever the possibility is) be selling but that we are allowing other teams' cash dictate our future. I suppose that everybody is affected because presumably Man City can now bid on everybody's best.
If a January market turns out to be Beckham + a defender in and Kaka out then I don't know what to say...at the very least a huge portion of the amount received must be spent immediately.
Of course I hope this is all media nonsense but it seems to have gone beyond that at this point.

I agree with the immediate part. And not for a washed up disgrace either. I am looking for a defender and striker. A Ramos and Benzema combination. Not to mention, to have them in uniform by January 31st

by listening to their offer, we make Kaka the villan if he moves. Berlusconi & Galliani can blame the player if he leaves. What we should have done is say he's not for sale, look elsewhere.

All we can hope for now is that Kaka's desire to be a Milan legend and his faith that the team can be on top again is strong enough to see him decline the move.

If (though it seems more like when) he goes, he'll still have to wait for Man City to become competitive. They won't make the CL next season or possibly the season after that either and how long before they're really challenging for the league? At least with us he has a better chance of both those things.
