so did the soviet union. mrki open your eyes. once again its not about pride its about money. the best thing to happen is the delegation want to ask about possibilty buying milan not kaka. thus we will have the same team but different owner . i mean they are ready to pay 200 millions for kaka. why not paying 2 billions and have an established club who already on the top of the world. thus we keep the san siro . the red and black strips and galliani as well.

I don't know about that. What I know, Milan always reject the offer from other clubs, except with City. Milan always deny Kaka's transfer to other club except with City.

I didnt want to post about it cause i actually thought it was fantasy football...but galliani(and believe it or not its mostly his fault) is destroying this teams dreams..were acting like we are lazio or parma at the late 90s..we re acting like a small team..and guys its tottaly diferent with sheva's case, sheva asked them(galliani and sivio)to leave..This time they re just selling him for money!!to do what with that money?!we re losing our best player, the best player around when his fit..the man that won the cl byhimself for this team 2 years ago..

if that happens galliani must go..were f..ing doomed

Kaka' not wanting on his side to be the bad boy leaving the club who made him what he is now, and Milan not wanting on its side to be the club that sells his players if there are good/amazing offers ...

So both Milan and Kaka' will be responsible if he leaves, because don't forget that to leave, Milan has to accept the offer, but Kaka' also has to sign a contract ...
Scary, but well said Geo Tav!! Best post I have seen on this thread in a minute!!

Unfortunately, this seems to have gone a bit too far for most of us to be comfortable with.

I remain a Milan fan, regardless of who we sell, as no player is bigger than the club. If a club is foolish enough to spend 100M on a player, then, so be it.

If we are foolish enough to accept, then so be it.

Its hard to turn down that sum of money, and I understand why Management would allow them to talk to the player...I understand all of it.

I might not like it, I might disagree with us selling...but as I stated before, and will state again, Kaka isnt Milan, $heva wasnt Milan, Ronaldinho isnt Milan, and as loyal as he is, Maldini isnt Milan.

AC Milan is a club, that, like others, must exist in the real world of dollars, and cents...and Berlu could almost build a new stadium with that money, or if not, finance a lot of purchases for the young talent most of you have been screaming and moaning about for several years now.

Messi anyone?

And as some here have alleged, he might even put it in his own pocket. Berlu has invested millions, much more than 100M in the club since he bought it, so it his to do with as he pleases...and if he does pocket the money...well...so be it.

What can I do about it? Nothing.

Its our choice to remain fans, phans, or to burn our jerseys, flags etc, and riot in the streets, or to be like me, and smile at it all, and continue on with life.

My 3 year old could care less if Kaka is sold, or not. I am starting to like that sort of outlook.

Plus, I think this is much a do about nothing.

You are right my man, but you have to realise that from this point on this is no longer ac milan. That is, of course, not a crucial moment of my life, but its a shame I feel sad for. And for the fact football will become NBA where people will no longer know who plays where.

I have to agree with Warro here. Much ado about nothing. Football is a business, like it or not.

Kinda hard to turn down that money for Kaka, looking at Ronnie who is now finding his form and Gourcuff who is waiting in the wings. Way to many good players for far too less roles on the field.

Football is a business.

Like Warro said, you need money to buy this guy and that guy. Well, here's the cash the team needs to refresh the ranks and yeah, to help erect Silvio's new stadium.

What could we do? Nothing, just watch it happen and move on. Won't change my allegiances.

Actually, it's a conspiration from our management (in relation with Kaka') !! They took Beckham because they planned to sell Kaka', and so to change our formation in a 4-4-2 !! Ronaldinho and Beckham on the wings, and when they have to be rested, Seedorf as a central attacking midfielder !!

Ahah, I got it !!

To be serious, Milan will be Milan even if they sell Kaka', Kaka' didn't make Milan, Kaka' helped Milan and I hope that he will help us a lot in the near future and late future, but if he goes, so it's his choice too, and so that would prove that the guy wasn't as perfect as he seemed to be by his image ...

And like said Boban (what I said on the post implicitely in the post Warro quoted), the fact that Milan accepts with Manchester City, a club with no history, no players, a bad rank in the Premiership, a club with only money, it's maybe a test to see if Kaka' is really what he is and really thinks what he always said ?! Because Kaka' can still refuse this offer, show his loyalty and say "I want to stay in Milan, my club, and I say again what I said Wednesday: I want to be Milan captain and remain here for years !!"

EDIT: What I underlined is what Boban said lol ... the rest is from me

PS: I can't understand people saying that because we sell Kaka', they're going to support another team or stop watching Milan or any other thing ... that sounds crazy to me coming from Milan fans !!

I can understand that some or many fans won't watch or even support Milan anymore if Milan sell Kaka. I think, it's not about Kaka, not also about 'there is no bigger than the club'. But it's about the transfer itself, how Milan act and behave. If Milan act like a small team and have no pride like other said, it's not what Milan we know.

I do think that this is different to people who love/like Milan because their idol play for Milan and when their idol leaves Milan they also change their beloved/favorite club to the club the idol goes to. I am sure that many of them, who told that they won't support or watch Milan, have been fans of Milan long before Kaka joined Milan.

At the end, I see it a temporary emotion. Even later if some people won't watch Milan or support Milan (only in their mouth), I do believe they still have love in Milan, they still care about Milan, they just hate the people behind Milan (the boards).

sorry for out of topic

I can't believe that people actually say that they won't support Milan anymore if this move goes on.

How do you people think the South Americans have felt for the past decades when they go to Japan and get beat by the same players that they brought up as youngsters. After all......we are no different then then Manchester City, as the only difference is the numbers. We just went to Brazil this winter and took two of their best players and their fans aren't burning the jerseys. This is ridicilous. What makes us better then Sao Paolo or Palmeiras or Boca??? These are teams that have huge history and their colors will never die just like Milan's will never die.

Let me state something.......no player is worth 130 mil Euros. Again........NO FOOTBALL PLAYER IS WORTH 130 mil EUROS WHEN THERE ARE PEOPLE STARVING TO DEATH ON THIS EARTH AND PEOPLE THAT HAVE TO WORK LIKE ANIMALS FOR 15 HRS A DAY JUST TO MAKE IT THROUGH.

If there is anyone that we should be mad at, it is Citi's owners for making this a freakin ridicilous clown show. Take a look and wake up people........this has been happening for a long time now. After all, wasn't it Silvio that paid 13 mil pounds for Lentini to make him the most expansive player (a figure which at the time was unthinkable just like these 130 mil are now.) Let me guess something.... alot of you people weren't even fans of Milan then or maybe didn't even know about Milan. Or another option....a lot of you people probably became fans of Milan because of Berlu's spending for this club which has made us the most decorated club in international football. Maybe at the time you didn't link your love for Milan because of the money Berlu spent......but let's be serious and talk like grown ups, Berlu's money has played a huge indirect role in us being on this forum today. I am 1000000% sure that nobody on this form sat down one day and said...."I am going to love Milan from today on because they treat players so good and they are such a moral club. They are like the heaven on earth" HELLLLLLL NOOO NONE OF YOU DID THAT!

I grew up loving this club and I will continue to do so. I started when I was 7 and now I'm 23. That's 16 years and I intend to keep going. At the time that I starter I started because of the great players that played for these colors. Players like Van Basten, Gullit, Rijkard, Maldini.....so on. But I didn't know that all those players are there because of Berlu (well maybe not Maldini) Those players left and Milan is still here.

I know Kaka means a lot to a lot of fans. But nobody is worth 130 mil and if there is a club out there stupid enough to offer it........then it is our club's duty to accept. Barcelona sold Ronaldo, Juve sold Zidane, Parma sold Buffon, Lazio sold Nesta (even though totally different circumstances stll money ruled the purchase). And I am sure that if someone offers 130 mil for Totti then Roma will sell too, or Barca will sell Messi, or Man U will sell CR, or Inter will sell Ibrahimovic, or Juve will sell Buffon, or Chelsea will sell Terry, .....and so on, and I hope you see where I'm going with this.

I just want people to realize that it's not Berlu's fault for accepting the offer (if indeed he actually did)........but Berlu is one of the people to blame who are respnsible for the fact that the world has become what it is today.

On the contrary of everything I just said.....I hope that if the deal goes through, we keep on building this team.

sorry for posting again after that long one, but I forgot to put something in it and now I can't edit.

What I want to say is that, I feel like it's Milan's duty to accept that offer because like I said noone is worth that kind of money. But I'm sure that Berlu doesn't NEED the money and I am sure that nobody will pressure Kaka to leave. As a matter of fact , I feel like the managment will be proud of Kaka if he rejects the offer. I will be proud of Kaka if he rejects the offer and I hope it sends a statement to everyone across the world that football can be something else other then money.

I think that management won't be proud if kaka rejects the offer but oppositely they will be dissapointed to lose such a lot of money, otherwise they won't let city talk to kaka.

Enough for kaka bullsh*t
let's take this first..........

15 gennaio 2009 - Sportmedia

Milan really want to attach Kaka. with Mattioni,Agger and Silva, we are really reinforcing our depleted backline.....Buffon next please
