Milan confirmed last night that they are assessing a bid from Manchester City for Brazilian star Kakà, leaving the former World Player of the Year with a difficult decision to make according to striking team-mate Pato.

“His choice will have to come from his heart and he has to carefully ponder it,” Pato told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“If I were in his shoes, I would not have any doubts: I would stay put here at Milan - this is his home. I truly hope he will keep playing alongside me.”

You know, maybe the purchases of Thiago Silva and Mattioni + the likely happening purchase of Agger, all under 25, are a strong message that we're starting to rebuild and so that a new project starts ...
Kaka' always said he would stay if his ambitions and the ones of Milan are the same, by buying new defenders, I think Milan is making a step forward in the right direction to win titles again, what else can ask Kaka' ?

This kaka transfer really divided people to sell or not. if only gourcruff can replace kaka and we get the 100 million. Invest the 100 million and win another 3 champion league after kaka sell. Just like after we sell sheva. hope gourcruff can replace kaka. still hard to accept kaka leave milan for MC .

Again it's being reported that Kaka doesn't want to join Manchester City and is ready to turn down the offer.

I can't reply you, sorry ... the main news are about Kaka', we just have to wait for any official statement about Agger. These articles say that we have an agreement on the price, not yet that we bought him (except your article, but no official statement again, so ...).

I just saw on Eurosport France (often falsa things, they report the worst rumors, the ones that bring people on the site) that we have a debt of 316M ?? And they also say that our main target now is Adebayor ... WTF ?!

Haha, what the hell? There's no way we'd have a debt that huge, we wouldn't be allowed to compete in the Serie A if that was the case, let alone European tournaments. The nice thing about having Berlusconi as the club's owner is that he covers all debts for us.

Gremio has formalized the sale of Brazilian Felipe Mattioni to Milan. The 20 years old also has an Italian passport, so he can play immediately.

how can we be in the red? that isnt possible guys. think about it. why else would our management give super contract extensions to players who arent worth it, dida, inzaghi for example. Theyve got huge contract extentions and arent playing. If we wouldve had debts we would be fast to release players with such wages.

Interesting news, I'm pretty sure that if Kaka' is sold, it would be because our management knows that we have Gourcuff who could come back and so his replacement is already found ... look at that:

That means nothing (he said the same things in Auxerre before moving to Roma), but it could be understood by the fact we would have signed Agger: I can't imagine our team with, let's cross our fingers, a fit Nesta, Agger, Thiago Silva, Kaladze, Bonera and Mexes !! We would pass from a deficit in terms of quantity to too much players for not enough places !!

Unfortunately, this seems to have gone a bit too far for most of us to be comfortable with.

I remain a Milan fan, regardless of who we sell, as no player is bigger than the club. If a club is foolish enough to spend 100M on a player, then, so be it.

If we are foolish enough to accept, then so be it.

Its hard to turn down that sum of money, and I understand why Management would allow them to talk to the player...I understand all of it.

And as some here have alleged, he might even put it in his own pocket. Berlu has invested millions, much more than 100M in the club since he bought it, so it his to do with as he pleases...and if he does pocket the money...well...so be it.

What can I do about it? Nothing.

Its our choice to remain fans, phans, or to burn our jerseys, flags etc, and riot in the streets, or to be like me, and smile at it all, and continue on with life.

My 3 year old could care less if Kaka is sold, or not. I am starting to like that sort of outlook.

Plus, I think this is much a do about nothing.

Some things are worth more than money......Berlu is currently selling these things...Supporting Milan will be hard if this goes through....I'll never turn my back on milanand for elsewhere (though I must say I DO have a soft spot for Corinthians).

But the loyalty, camaraderie, family spirit are embodies in kaka....unfortunately to Berlu that and Milan's SOUL has a price.

From a footballing standpoint it's almost suicidal....Kaka is the only other person with pace other than Pato.....he has carried Milan on his shoulders on MANY occasions and even worse ALWAYS wants to play.....captain material no?

now Carlo said some bad things about gourcuff. that he is too slow etc... and that he did not deserve to play last season. looks like he does not want him back.

Pato has summed it up perfectly there, Kaka is a good honest man surely after all his team mates are saying he should stay should show him hes loved and needed here at Milan
