Why is a smokescreen required? With or without Kaka saga we need at least two of those you mentioned. And actually three, maybe even all, of those you mentioned can be had for relatively cheap too

Can't they use all this money to go get Cristiano, Messi, Ibrahimovic? Why our Kaka, its not like he's been on devastating form in the last year?

Maybe this is a smokescreen by Man City to sign Favalli and Emerson..

Btw what the f is up Carlo's *** saying that Gourcuff is slow and can't take Kaka's place? First off, who the hell is as fast as Kaka? And second, we have Pirlo and Seedorf in our team, and you tell me Gourcuff is slow? I was always a Carlo supporter, but this last comment is making me start to think....

I'm tired of fans who claim to divorce themselves of emotion when making decisions....There are MANY pragmatically illogical things AC Milan have done over the years and you know what ? It makes me love them more. If you want a pragmatic, sound, thrifty club please become a Juventino.

Do you honestly think that some of the players on our squad deserve to be there?? even some that we revere?
Gattuso: awful passer, shooter and not the brightest bulb
Maldini: SLOW, and increasingly error prone with age
Seedorf: See above
Pirlo: See above + lost free kick ability and increasingly un creative

Yet we appreciate and respect these players deeply...when we should be eager to replace them with the abundance of far more efficient players in their position. Take your pragmatism somewhere else please.

Definitely the best post I have read in this thread. The Milan directors should be crucified by the fans (not literally, lol) if Kaka is sold to Manchester City. I'd rather come fourth in the league for a few more seasons than see the club sell it's soul like this. Like all deals with the Devil, this transfer is bound to have consequences, and what it might mean for Milan is that most of the "serious" fans will lose their passion for the club.

RONALDINHO per fermare Kakà: "Non te ne puoi andare"
16.01.2009 18.50 di Milannews Redazione
Fonte: milannews.it

This article just makes me crazy: it's true that we were in battle with Manchester City for Ronaldinho, he was almost there but finally decided to go in the best club, and it was also thanks to Kaka' ... and now Kaka' would leave for Manchester City.

Kaka', the best lier in the world ??

So Antonini, Kaladze, Ronaldinho, Ancelotti, Pato have all speaked about Kaka' ... it just misses Kaka' himself right now and our management. Which is embarrassing is that they are all busy thinking about Kaka' and none of them spoke about the very important game of tomorrow !! I hope this story won't cost us the 3rd place tomorrow (or even the 4th place too).

Worst scenario: we lose against Fiorentina and Kaka' goes ...
Very bad scenario: we win against Fiorentina and Kaka' goes ...
Excellent scenario: we win, Kaka' scores, and Kaka' stays ...

Ladies... whilst all the speculation has been on Kaka, for whatever reason I have no idea since he'll be here in Milan until they don't want him (downright impossible at the moment), we seem to have come up with the next Cafu :P

This dude receives the same fanfare that Kaka got when he came to Milan, could be a sign
http://www.acmilan.com/NewsDetail.aspx?idNews=78680

Oh, and Geo, I think Kaka already made his opinion known. The media just want to sell papers on a slow week. Milan won't sell, I can definitely guarantee that. Silvio isn't stupid enough to start a riot at home, he's got a country to run mind you.

Its nice that your an idealist but lets be honest Berlusconi and Galliani are realists who are driven by capital inetrests and are running the club as so.

Your telling me that players like Gattuso, Maldini, Seedorf, and pilro are still at the club because the club is so ideal in its approach

Or maybe its because players like Maldini, are still playing because the club doesnt currently have any better to field. Im more then sure that if Ancelotti had a strong CB pair that Maldini would only play Coppa games. Same goes for Seedorf and Pirlo. While Gattuso not being the best passer of the ball got nothing to do with his role in the team.

You speak of ideals yet Ronaldinho and Beckham were clearly purchased for publicities, indorcement, or other economical stunts to raise the clubs commerical image.

You speak of Ideals, yet the club is purchasing more south American players than ever. The Italian identity soon enough will no longer be represented in Milan any longer.

Lets face it, at the moment the club is immitating policies similar to real madrids galacticos and Inters (no italian) south American base players policy.

So If u want to support clubs who fancy ideals, then Milan is no longer one to follow.

Smokescreen, the fact that what you guys are crossing that out is actually in full effect.

The thing is, Kaka himself came out and said he wants to stay and grow old at Milan, how come all you out there still have no faith in him.
Don't let the media twist and turn your mind.

As for this Diego Kotscho, so call spokes person of Kaka, he might just be saying these stuff to raise Kaka's value or Kaka is using Man City's offer to show Milan that, buy defenders or I am gone.

IN short, Kaka stated he wants to stay in Milan and grow old here just a few days ago, fully knowing what Man City has to offer, what more proof do you want that Kaka is staying.

MRKI i got you really. i know what honor is and i know what kaka means to all of us but the most important thing we are ignoring that the one to blame here not me, you or kaka. its the management who are willing to let kaka go. afterall why would you welcome some people if your answer is gonna be no.
the management let this thing to happen. and MRKI trust me if this deal did not go throuh we all believe now kaka lost his faith in milan. after everything milan should never think of such thing becuase kaka always commented that he wants to stay with us. galliani and co. backstabbed him.

Let's wait and see, I hope from all my heart that you are true (my reason makes me thinking that 2009 could be the last year of Kaka' here, the only way to keep him would be to finally refuse that money and telling him he is the next captain, but like there is a hierarchy ... the only way to put him as a captain next year is to sell Ambrosini lol), anyway, we're starting to repeat the same things I think now ...

Yes, Milan has been throwing its idols, Sheva was going to be our club's idol and then left, Kakà was going to be the idol, now leaving. Who'll be the idol after Maldini? There's no one really that charming if Kakà's gone.

Anny news about Agger's signing? I've read somewhere that he's already a Milan player, is that true?

It is not that easy to say NO to 100M+pounds for one player.

THe thing is that I think any team would have said yes, even Pool for Gerrard, a home grown talent like Maldini.

The most important thing is that Galli and Brida might have jsut say they will think about this offer after the meeting, b/c they don't want to make the decision without Berlu's consent. Which is fair, b/c Galli and Brida just never face with this situation before. The other thing is that, all the info we are getting are from the press, how much do they really know?

All I can say is that.
1. There is an offer from Man City
2. Milan is thinking about it
3. Kaka said he wants to grow old in Milan
4. Players and fans are making Kaka and Berlu knows what they think-Kaka to stay
5. Hughes and company kept telling the press that Kaka is near and Milan should not refuse the offer b/c it is just and is the right thing to do.
