I wouldnt like that, but considering all the (better?)replacements we could buy if we sell them, I wouldnt say no either...
I say again, I would accept that offer if and only if the management are willing to spend!!

Kaka is irreplaceable, he's the best player Milan has atm and he's still young and would be pretty helpful in the future.

If Milan wants to start building a new squad, then they should start with Kaka and Pato, offering better contracts, and then also giving Darmian and Paloschi a chance in the first team

You still have not answer what I asked, to me, if that happened, I would be pretty happy instead of piss at management.
Well, if you force me to answer then A BIG YES to the first 3 players and NO to the latter ones. Aside from this family thing I still believe that Pirlo, Max, and Pippo could be useful for us.

But I think I got your point, would we all be this mad had the City asked for our players other than Kaka? Well, I should reply by addressing another question, do we have players better than Kaka now? Or in the last 5-6 years?

Galliani talked about how Kaka's selling will solve the financial crisis and thus strengthening the club. To me there are several ways to strengthen the club (selling the first 3 players aforementioned is one of them), and the last thing to come in my mind is to sell our best player.
One way to help alleviate financial trouble is to get rid of under-performing players off our books:

1) Seedorf
2) Favalli
3) Dida
4) Kaladze

This will save the management quite a bit of money every year. Let's say they all earn 12 million euros combined. That means we would free up 24 million euros right there. Just a thought.

you can add Maldini, Shevchenko, Emerson and senderos to that list! the dead wood must be cleared in the summer.
We can take back gourcuff to replace seedorf, Paloschi to replace shevchenko, Thiago silva for maldini, Mattioni for Favalli, Felipe for Dida, Agger or santacroce for Kaladze, darmian for senderos. we wouldnt even need to spend really big to be competitive again!
Bust most of all I would change coach...

This is the part that I am having difficulties understanding. Galliani keeps talking about it like the best thing that can happen to a soccer team is to have a balanced book, but I have always thought that a soccer team should focus on winning rather than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I understand the importance of having a profitable organization, but a soccer team is not just a company. A company's only measurement of success is its profit figure while a soccer team's biggest measure of success lies in the trophies it wins. You can be the most profitable franchise in the history of soccer but you are never going to be considered a major club until you win trophies. The rule of the modern day soccer world is that profitability and winning do not go with one another. If Galliani and the other guys in the management don't like that fact, then the only way to solve this problem is by them leaving.

Kaka is not an idiot. He wont leave us for the likes of Manchester City who cant offer him what we can in terms of football. He is an intelligent man and this will show in his decision.

Kaka wont leave.

Meeting between Galliani and Berlu has already taken place.

Galliani meeting Kaka's dad now.

Kaka isn't an idiot and thus is probably very well aware of what you just posted, but it appears his father (who is very influencial in his career) wants the move and it mostly appears to be due to the money offered.

Either way, we should find out soon enough whether this deal is for real or whether this was all a waste of time.

I agree with what you're saying, only I think profitability and succes can "go with one another", in the sense that building or maintaining a succesful team can create or maintain a profitable club: If we sell Kaká we might gain €120 millions, but we might loose millions of fans (literally) and become less marketable (as Kaká is one the most famous players in the world), thus potentially losing both sponsor and TV deals. This way we might soon lose all those €120 millions. If on the other hand we keep Kaká, we will remain one of the most marketable clubs in the world - although eventually we will have to actually win something (which requires further investment, Berlu!).

I am going to be optimistic here adn hope that Kaka has inherited his intelligence from his father. Hopefully his father is merely gettting a fatter paycheck from Milan and is completely bluffing. Hopefully Galliani wont manage to offend him too.
