In the past, you were discovering who would be your next player only in newspapers when the guys were signed ... or you had one rumour per day maximum (as newspapers don't edit themselves in the same day lol).

Nowadays, you have to do with Internet where are sent many rumours each 10 minutes on every websites all over the world ... it's why you feel like our management "plays" with us ... don't go on Internet, just buy newspapers for this week to be aware and I'm pretty sure you'll be more relaxed than anyone here waiting for some news by refreshing pages every 5 minutes !! lol

The Bosman ruling definitely empowered individual players. Another consequence of the ruling was that footballers were treated as labour. As a result, certain rights accrued to them, and that is fine.

To change football now, you would need to change the fundamental view of footballers as labour. That is an ideological battle that is doomed to fail.

I think we've reached a point in this whole saga that we should able to pin point those sources that are generally spreading rumours... and trash them.
