They did nothing with the Sheva cash (and they say they'll do nothing with this). They bring in Ronnie, and this couldn't have pleased Kaka'. They bring in Beckham for 2 months-why? They are clueless about our age of the team, our defense, our needs. Kaka' has always said that he would only leave if they wanted to sell him, and it appears they do. This is pathetic, and I fully expect either an exodus of players out of Milan, or a 'lost generation' of the team over the next few seasons until the club is sold and we can begin again.
I don't feel like this is the same Milan. I feel like Kaka' has had his feelings hurt and that he want the love and respect of the club but they are not giving it to him, instead focusing on other shinier things that only stay bright for awhile, while Kaka' burns like the sun, strongly and consistently.
Stop your drama, if Kaka' goes, it's because he'll sign a contract with them and anyone can say whatever he can, if he signs, so his love for Milan wasn't as important as he said ... anyway, there's still a little chance for us: he didn't sign yet, there seems to be "only" (it's alot) an agreement between his agent, Milan and Manchester.

So Milan and Kaka' are going to be responsible of that ...

Maybe not, but can Kaka` say "NO"? YES - he could have, but he did not and allow his father to negotiate with Man City. EIther Kaka` is an idiot, or he is, idneed, not the person we used to know him.

Either way, it's a wild guess...
I'm sorry, English is not my first language so I am guessing it here, but yes, they were specific about it yesterday, it was a pure cash offer, in one instalment.

Kaka will get destroyed by PL defenders now.

Don't forget Kaka's involvement in Ronaldinho coming to us. How many times did we read that he was in "constant discussion" to Ronaldinho about Milan and that he should come here.

at jtelly,
How do you know that Kaka WANTS to be in Milan? I'm not denying that he does, but prove to us that he wants to be here? Why....Just because he said he wants to grow old here???? $heva said the same thing!

After all, the facts are bigger that his agents and Kaka actually want improved contracts......as that's all that's been going on here. We got offers from Chelsea and Real and they banged on the door requesting a bigger deal for Kaka.

I love Kaka as a player and the person he has all of us believing that he is. but give me some facts that he WANTS to be in Milan!

For the 100th time.....I am not against Kaka nor the managment. I just want people to weigh up all possibilities before pointing the finger.

I am sorry if you think it is drama. However, this is something that is going to change football, and not for the better. For the second time, we are associated with the very greedy aspects of football, and this time Milan will come out worse for wear. Almost every player and coach has come out and said how ridiculous it is for them to even be considering selling Kaka'.
Remember, he said he'd only go if they wanted to sell him-this translates to he would only go if they did not WANT him. Which it appears that they do not. Sad.

Completely agree. Not blaming anyone here at the moment, yet, but that's what the chinese newsppaer is arguing. Maybe many of the fans are misguided and thinking that Kaka` loves Milan; he does, but only if the money comes in.

But for now, all are hypotehses...

But you see one part of the communication war we all watched for the last few days ...

You choose to look at it from the "bad boys vs nice Kaka'" point of view, it's your choice, but reality, I said it once or twice or more lol, is not all black or all white, it's often grey ...

If that's what you think then fine. But I can't believe how you can't see the politics on those statements. Kaka with those comments gave Milan the key to everything........therefore whatever happens in the future he will never be the bad one.

Why don't we ask him why he and his agents got improved contracts year in year out eventually making him the best paid player in Europe??? Let's see what he is going to answer to that question.

Speculating about actual figures, yes. But my point about us not getting a huge lump sum is as valid as any point about us getting everything up front. The majority of us are just assuming we'll go spend the money straight away, where has there been any confirmation that this will actually happen? How many major transfers have ever been a large percentage of the fee up front?

Because there is such a vast amount of coverage on this, it's impossible to weed out the facts from the fantasy. Plus, given Galliani's secrecy on deals i doubt we'll ever know everything anyway.
