Yea, but he was already the best paid on the team and was far ahead of everyone else in that department.
Also....don't you think that it's a little weird how he was getting an extension every year?.....also wasn't it a little weird how he got that extension right after a club became interested and approached Milan?
I mean.....there were clubs interested in Gattuso as well a few times......but we didn't run and gave him 7,then 8, then 9.5 mil a year deals did we?

I understand what you're saying but i don't see why he should get ANOTHER pay rise for staying. Give him the captain's armband as a reward, not another wage increase. All that will do will show him that whenever he threatens to leave we'll give him more money. ofcourse, me and 2 or 3 other guyz from this forum posted an article that Don Silvio planned this, and in the and of everything, he would say like a HERO that kaka is staying, and this happened... !!

It's on Skysport. The correspondent says it is announced by Berlusconi on some TV channel. Kaka is definitely staying until 2013. It's officially over now. but I don't think I can forgive Berlusconi for staging this little drama knowing what fans were going through. Now where are those City fans..?

Did he want another increase this year? I think he also wants to stay here, so that is why he continued to add years to his contract. Most players get a raise as they increase their time and contract.
Nobody's perfect. The sums of money are ridiculous. But come on, why did Berlu and Galliani have to put us in this mess to begin with? Why didn't they just say "Thanks, but no thanks." It would've avoided all this crap.

They were probably part of the plan to rely the information and play the game of Berlusconi.

If this is a 'test' or something like that, it is sick. Kaka' singly kept us going, the CL trophy we won rests on his shoulders.
Bozos like Emerson should be 'tested' to see if they are still breathing...cripes.
