I'm not so sure that emerson and favalli will leave. our management has a good reputation of giving over the hill players contract extentions.

It would be great to have an American-born player at Milan, even though some here resent Rossi's decision to play fo Italy (personally, while it certainly would have been nice to have him for the USMNT, I can't blame him for his decision). But acquiring Rossi might help focus more attention on Milan in the U.S. and create more fans here. He's certainly an excellent young player and would be another that would carry Milan in his heart.

Personally, I would like to see Milan bring in Karim Benzema from Lyon. He would be expensive, but he would be a great fit. It would be nice if Berlusconi would flex his financial muscle and not let Barcelona or Manchester United take him.

For me, to play Santacroce as RB is more of a waste then to play Thiago there. Again, there is SANTACROCE in my team. With Agger the starting pair of CB's is Nesta-Thiago. And fullbacks are Zambro and Kaladze(or Mattioni if he is good, then Zambro is LB). For me Kaladze is much better playing at LB then at CB. Also there's Marek ( who is not capable of playing that, but as rotation player etc...), Antonini...even Bonera as RB.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Why not buying another Rb. Becouse we have Zambrotta, Thiago, Bonera, Antonini and Mattioni who can play that And also Antonini, Zambrotta, Kaladze and Jankulovski for the left side. So aguess you understand now.
--------------------------------------------------------------

Why bring back Abate? Coz he is a player capable of playing few positions: RB, RM, even AM. Young and agressive player that is free and can bring freshness in a long season. Its not obligatory that he plays strictly as RB. I would actually use him in midfield more. The role Beckham plays now Abate can do 3 times better. In the list he is a defender, but hey - even Seedorf is a forward sometimes in Milan's list
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd buy Cigarini coz our midfield needs to have number of quality players if we are going for scudetto and CL. We now have B team that is not capable of beating noone! Cigarini would replace not needed emerson.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gourcuff and Marek CAN and dont have to play same positions. They are both versatile players. You people have forgotten how some players are very versatile that we have, since Carlo has a football immagination of my grandmother. And uses players extremly strictly. Yoan is an AM, LM, RM... Marek LM, LAM, LB...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

22-24 players is good. This team has 22, o. It can have 24, Cardaccio and whoever. but those are 22 players absolutely capable of playing in any time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We dont have a squad injury prone! We have an OLD squad and so therefore an injury prone squad!!
--------------------------------------------

Favalli, Emerson and Maldini are out of contract. Will Seedorf want to leave? He'll be sold... what can I say more... Also %heva, to Man City

Cheers!
Firstly, don't forget to take pictures of the game, supporters, you with an AC Milan shirt during a Handball game (it could be funny !! ), etc and put it on the topic of pictures ^^

Now, let's speak football !!

If in the team you wrote, we can have Santacroce AND Thiago Silva, the best would be to put them together and play Nesta in the most important games (he is a very injury-prone player ^^).
That would be amazing to have them both as it would be simply impossible for our opponents to score with one-on-one actions and counter-attacks ... ... for one decade !!

About the RB position, we have many players who CAN play there, Zambrotta is a natural RB (and natural LB actually, he plays well in both positions), but taking a new RB, a natural one and if possible young one like De Silvestri ... I said this name because with this guy there, we would be ok for years (anyway, if Mattioni is as strong as he is supposed to be, there will be no need to buy another RB).

For Abate, ok. It was just because you put him in defense ... (Seedorf is a true striker, he scored more goals if I'm not wrong than Shevchenko this year ... so ? lol).

For Gourcuff (who is a true ACM, believe me, it's a waste to put him on the left side) and Jankulovski, of course, it's what I said in my comment, they are not in the same position, but by putting Janku + Cigarini + Gourcuff, we're starting to have surplus in our midfield ... Janku for me wouldn't be needed here. Why ? Because he won't be used in his LM natural position ...

Let's sell at a higher price than bought Cardaccio and Viudez or let's loan them, they are useless ... and with all the players you mentionned in the team, they would still be useless.

About Seedorf, he can refuse, as Dida did, to be sold !! The only way to sell him is to call our dear friends of Manchester ... you know the ones who helped us to be in the centre of all medias in the world ... to thank them, we could sell Seedorf for something like 20M to them
For Sheva, I'm not sure anybody will want him, but with some luck, maybe we didn't buy him and he's just on loan ...

About your team, anyway, there is no impossible big changes (you know, like people who say we have to buy Aguero ... we will never do that from my point of view as he is Argentinian and he is expensive: his destination is Inter lol) and there is a good balance between foreign players and Italian ones (between 12 and 15 Italian players depending on the striker, the GK and Santacroce, 5 Brazilian players, and others from ...).

Agger - 8M
OR Santacroce - ?M (we'll have to pay a lot Napoli if the let him go, I'd say at least 15M)
Abate - I don't remember if he's on loan or co-ownership
Gourcuff - Free
Cigarini - 10M
Young GK - Depends on the GK we choose
Paloschi for example instead of Balotelli - 5M I think for the co-ownership

= you were right, approximately between 30 and 35M without counting the sold players (but as we never sell players very expensively)

About the coach, if you give all these players to Ancelotti by forcing him to leave guys like Emerson and Favalli for example, I think it's a Scudetto-CL year for us ... it's why I don't see the need of a change of coach !!

No to Benzema (his head is like a melon ready to explode whereas he's only 21 ... some modesty wouldn't kill him I think), a biiiiiiiiig yes to Giuseppe Rossi ... but only if we play with 2 strikers, let's imagine him with Pato (left-leg and right-leg) ...

Pato-Balotelli......that is the partnership that POTENTIALLY is the most devastating in the future.......They can BOTH do eachother's job pretty well but Pato seems to be faster and Balotelli is stronger. Balotelli seems to be the natural finisher and Pato is more creative.....the future of Italy and Brazil

We should get him from Inter (you know him being a Milan fan and all ) Plus I don't think that he's as badly behaved as Inter/Mourinho make us think.....With Deco being the only noted exception, Mourinho CANNOT handle flair players....he is a great coach but he generally puts a lid on artistic players and they either underperform (Joe Cole for much of his Chelsea career Duff Robben) or just play plain rubbish (Mancini, Quaresma, Crespo) Mancini and Quaresma didn't become rubbish overnight....NOR were they rubbish at their previous clubs......And it's not that Quaresma can't adapt to Italy because Mancini played BRILLIANTLY for Roma before going to printer........

Mourinho needs midfielders players who have a great overall game: defending attacking etc....unless you are a pure defensive player....that's why Lampard did so well under him.....and it's why Muntari is becoming Inter's most valuable player alongside Maicon who is ALSO great at everything.

As an Interfan said on forzainter.....Balo was comparable to PAto last season now he isn't fit to tie his boots.....

I agree with most of the other transfer targets though.

dru's lineup

-Matti (let's try him out)-Silva-Santacroce (everybody wants him)-Zambro
----------------Flamini--Gattuso/Ambro------------------
-------Kaka-------------R80-----------------Janku--------
-------------------------DUCK--------------------------

We have the same wish about our next formation !!
But I wouldn't use the same players than you in ^^ ... I mean, not in defense, it's clearly what we all want (I think) for our defense as we would be simply too strong

------------ Pato ------------- => I already said it, but actually, 3 strikers are enough, we replace Inzaghi and Sheva by a fit player and that's all (Pato, Borri, New)
Dinho -------------- Kaka' ----- => Gourcuff can play there if needed, and Pirlo takes his place
---------- Gourcuff ----------- => Pirlo able to play there, higher on the pitch than nowadays
-- Gattuso --------- Flamini --- => ...

To those suggesting Balotelli, I'm not completely sure how happy I'd be if he came. He's got the ability to be world class, but somehow I'm highly doubtful of his attitude.

For Benzema, as I said, he hasn't the right attitude to play here ... it would be like a team of ... umh let's say a team of lions, and suddenly, you put a tiger in the team (ok that means nothing like that).

Furthermore, older players seem not to apreciate him in Lyon and in French NT (they all agree that he will probably be one of the best forwards in the world, but there are a few guys who said he is too arrogant and disrespectful ... same happened with Nasri and Ben Arfa).

About Gourcuff, we don't have to care about the interest of Chelsea and Bayern ... because they simply can't buy him, the only way for them to get him is that we take him back from his loan, and sell him ... but if Bordeaux takes him, he won't be able to go !!

Well, maybe if Benzema came to a club where heart and loyalty are valued instead of a club that sometimes seems to be a way station for top players to move on to bigger things he would have an attitude adjustment. There's no doubt he has not only brilliant skills but skills that Milan could use.

I'm sure Gourcuff can play the role Beckham is playing now, and does no worse, if Kaka and Dinho can't be replaced. For sure he did some wonderful solo in France, but I'm impressed by his surgery pass. Seedorf is fading away and Pirlo won't be there forever.

Sms di Galliani alla Casa Blanca
Il numero due di Via Turati chiude le porte all'avanzata del Real Madrid per Kaką

Kaką, adesso l'insidia č merengues... Kaką, adesso l'insidia č merengues...

HANNOVER (Germania) - La telenovela Kaką continua a tenere banco in casa Milan.

-----

Galliani spoke yesterday after the Hannover match. He said (roughly), "it is enough to say that sooner or later Kaka' will leave Milan. For now Kaka' remains. I believe this whole affair's concusion is a great motivation for the squad..."

What do you guys make of this? Do you think Kaka' will leave this summer? What if Real offer 90 million euros; do you think Silvio will turn it down?

Well, if I'm not mistaken, just before the quote it says that Galliani "nips strongly in the bud any future scenario that might emerge" for Kaka to be wearing the jersey of Real Madrid. Hopefully some of our Italian speakers can clear it up, but it would seem to be saying that Kaka isn't going anywhere in the foreseeable future.

And no, I don't think Kaka will leave this summer or any summer soon. Why does everyone assume that he would rather play for Real Madrid than Milan? What is so much better about Real Madrid, especially for a player who already has a great love for the club he's playing for now? Berlusconi would probably accept the money if Kaka wanted to go. But if you believe Kaka's own words rather than believing a bunch of media crap stirred up by a paper that was caught completely making up an entire "interview" with Kaka when we went through the last Kaka/Real Madrid drama, there's no reason to think Kaka would want to go there.

People -- Real Madrid is not a bigger or more attractive club than Milan. During the Berlusconi Era, Milan has been a more successful club than Real Madrid. Quit being afraid of them!
