Alessandro Nesta Thread

I hope he can prove himself on the pitch!
He will be crucial for our further campaign...

I do think that we still need a WC defender as Nesta is injury prone and we can't really rely on him. He will be 33 in this March. With his age and his prone to injury it will be very difficult for him to play on regular basis.

If, for example, we have a WC defender plus Thiago Silva and Nesta are fit, we can move Thiago Silva to the right side of the defence as he is still capable of doing that IMO, just like when we have Nesta, Maldini AND Stam.

No matter what.. still a good news when we have him back to Italy although he still cant play immediately but he just needs time to recover from his injury not in the middle of the operation or something like that. I think he will probably play at February or beginning of March. Darn that this season we cant see him play with Thiago And I think we still need WC defender. Nesta is 33 yrs old now. At this age I think players who already have injury is have a bigger probability to repeat the injury again. Still the defense area is the first priority ^^

I agree for buying WC defender but i belive that if we want to buy we should but a grear one live AGGER not some stupid guys like Bonera or Kala or even sendros

So what if Nesta comes back. Let him teach both his and Maldini's successor. We have a million midfielders, why not have Nesta and two REAL defenders alongside him (All be it with them rotating or one being played as a wing back from time to time.).

What an exciting end of January for us !!

We were almost depressed after the game against Roma and then all that story with Kaka', and suddenly, on 5 days: we beat Fiorentina, we are 6 points from Inter, we keep Kaka', we see how promising Thiago Silva is, and now we have Nesta back.

All that is going to boost the morale of our team !!

PS: And we even won a friendly game against a decent team !! Wooow !!

Oleeeeee my favourite player on A.C. Milan is back =). Hope he returns to the pitch soon and shows the world how defending is REALLY done. Best defender in the world when fit =)

New setback for Nesta. Apparently he wanted to put alot of hard work to be ready for Inter but his body reacted badly and now his career is threatened. The club will decide in the next week whether to have surgery or not.

Hope that's not the case but if true that's some poor hindsight and decision making.

I'm seriously starting to doubt Nesta will ever come back... I hope he can recover.

Nesta will soon be 33.
Even if he recovers, he will need TIME to get back in the shape.....and I wouldn't like to see him with the "Maldini syndrome"

This is real bad news, it makes me sad...
Doubt we'll see the world class Nesta ever again, but then we should keep hoping. Hope that he doesn't jeopardy's his health I think he should start think to his life after the game...
