Baresi, Maldini and Nesta are all excellent players but Beckenbauer is right up there, unquestionably the best in his position.

I don't think Beckenbaur is necessarily the best in his position, but I think he made a massive impact in football. Baresi for me was just as great, as is Maldini now. However, I think they reached the point where there's no point of comparing them, they deserve to be recognized as some of the greatest. I don't quite count Nesta there, but he will be a legend for sure.

I personally refuse to think about Kaka' anymore. If Milan is ready to sell, and wants money Kaka' will sign for Madrid.

If Berlusconi doesnt want to sell, Kaka' will most likely stay. In my oppinion, Kaka' will stay in Milan as long as Milan is a very strong club who plays for trophys and brings in great players. now its tme to try to win scudetto and then give Kaka' captains aremband, which he deserves along with Ambro.

Jamie mentioned once that the best way to thank kaka and let him know how much his worth to Milan will be to give him the Captain Armband on the pitch...maldini is retiring, I dont see Ambro as as starter next year,rinho is not captain material IMO. So Maldini should do this at the end of the season..or now, if his not going to be considered as a starter by carlo.

Gattuso is Captain material,as is Ambrosini.

But Rhino is getting it and he deserves it,with the armband on his arm he will be much better motivating our players on the pitch.

Ambrosini wont be there forever. We would be in the same situation as Man United with Neville who hardly ever plays. The captain should be the first name on the team sheet.

Rino already motivates, making him captain wouldnt affect the way he plays.

Kaka being given the armband would hopefully make him impose himself more on the pitch.

No. Milan can't register any other non-EU player this season.

Milan can't register no matter what, even if he's abducted by aliens, or whatever? We can't register anyone this season? That seems very odd.

So why waste one on Viudez?

Next year, there will be the new rule I think with 3 possible non-EU purchases (or was that already this year but didn't notice we have bought 3 non-EU players ?) ...

I am already excited about the prospect of playing in CL next year.

Yes it would be great to back in CL. but to make an impact on next season, we have to solid our Defense and striker who consistently find back of the net. Pato is on good path, most pundit believe he will be one of star in the game in next three years. but for time being you can't put extra pressure on him, he need to grow in pressure less environment. Lets hope one good marksman come to the club in summer.

It is very hard to believe that they will make it three this year cause it took allot of effort to finally make it 2. So I think 3 noneu spots will not hapen cuz there will be too much foreigners and this is a time where rules r being placed to help homegrown players get some time.

In any case, in one month Nesta will be back and also Mattioni is ours now. That is two more players for our backline, aldough ( unless he is a football magician ) Idont see Carlo playing MAttioni a lot now. But Sandro is here, and that matters the most!! Finnaly NEsta next to Zambrotta in Milan!

Geo Tav, I have the pictures and movies ready from handball game! I just need to go to friends house to take them off his comp. It was his camera. France played a good game and they were waaay too strong for Hungary. I was sitting with Hungaryan fans mostly so I cheered them up,but it was +7 for France in HT so... No point really.

I know you follow it so in short: Karabatić is a BEAST, he is huge! Dinart is a maniac in defence and Abalo seems like flying when running counters... All in all, it was nice to see Narcisse, Fernandez, Gille etc. all playing together. But we'll win it in the end my friend cheers!

Today i learned that Emerson's contract runs out in the summer and whilst meaning no disrespect to him, i hope it's not renewed.

It also seems Ivanovic wants to move to Serie A (though to Fiorentina), it would be great if we signed him but i doubt we'll meet Chelsea's asking price.
