do you call our type of football an attacking football. for godsake ppl get it . its not a matter of players its a matter of a coach. anchelotti is very limited coach and quite frankly every title he got is because of players personal ambition and motivations!.
he is a very lucky coach. any serie a coach can outsmart anchelotti they got the solutions but not the players. he is the symbol of stupid, arrogant person who knows the wrong thing and keeps on doing it. we dont need a player we need a coach. hes done it with gorcuff and now with flamini.

Give me a ****ing break. Ancelotti is one of the best managers in Europe, and has been for quite a while. He invented Pirlo, made Gattuso a world class player, and helped make Ambro into a much better player than he ever was. He's getting more from Seedorf and Inzaghi than anyone would have expected. If you want to blame someone, blame whoever is in charge of transfers; not Ancelotti. You can't say that its his job to demand players, because it isn't. We're not Man United, Ancelotti isn't the biggest man in the team. Maybe that's a bad thing, and it probably is, but as long as Berlusconi remains in charge, every Milan manager will face the same problems.

Ancelotti is a great manager. He may make stupid mistakes sometimes, but his best quality is managing to right the course and identifying his mistakes. Some critical errors of course are Istanbul, not identifying alternatives to Pirlo and not having the balls to confront Berlusconi. Still, he did win us 2 Champions Leagues and a Scudetto. Don't tell me it was in spite of him, because it wasn't. Everything has to go right for a team to win that much, and they can't do it if such a critical component is incompetent.

This place has lots of good info, and I find lots of interesting insights, opinions and links. Too bad there are so many drama queens.

pirlo was discovered in bresica, gattuso in perugia, ambrosini was injured all the time. inzaghi was the league top scorer with 24 goals before coming to milan. seedorf had already won two champions league before joining us. i am blaming anchelotti becuase he got alot of alternatives and he is sticking with the same old players who were not able to qualify to champions league last year
and before you open your mouth try to know something about the players u mentioned !!!

And yet Roma (which has been doing so well with such an attacking football all around) and other big clubs are behind Milan, except Juventus and Inter (which have a stronger team, hopefully you'll agree with me). If a coach is lucky, that coach is Mourinho. Hey, he doesn't have to change much and can still win easily because his squad is so strong, the players are there. I wonder what you will do if you have limited defenders with the likes of Favalli, and aging Maldini, and the ever-unreliable Kaladze?

I'm sure the players are all very motivated, but motivation perhaps is not enough. Why don't we accept that Carlo makes mistakes, but still a good coach nevertheless? Which coaches don't make mistakes, anyway?

??

Yes, Pirlo was an incredible deep-seated playmaker at Brescia as well as Inter. Wait, he wasn't. I wasn't saying that he created them out of thin air. He didn't **** Pirlo's mom and raised him as his own. He made him the world class player he is today. He had lots of potential, but he was just another playmaker. He wasn't good enough for Inter. Same with Gattuso. Ambro especially was an average player until 4 or 5 years ago when he became very very good. It wasn't just them maturing, and even if it was, Carlo would have to be credited for guiding them into becoming what they are.

I said he should take credit for keeping Inzaghi and Seedorf going for so long. Read what I write and then respond, don't just type impulsively.

Those same players won the Champions League 12 months before failing to qualify. Last year was strange. We had problems at home, we wasted energy in Japan and Ronaldo ****ed up. What i'm trying to say is that you can't just be a coward and blame Carlo for everything that went wrong or could go wrong.

The day Milan run out of ideas is when I will be the first asking for Carlo to be sacked. Right now, we have ideas. We have a plan for the future and we are doing well. There's nothing broken in the team, and if there was, it will have been fixed. Ronaldinho was a gamble that looks like its working. Beckham was lucky, since we would have been reliant on Flamini, who never looked at home in right midfield. He needs time, but Beckham is doing great in place of Gattuso. Stop complaining about things that don't exist.

As for the rest of the discussion going on in here, I don't want to get too much into it but I don't want to call Carlo a bad coach as he obviously has the proof to show us that he is a good coach. BUT...I do think that at the end of this year it might be time for a change. I just feel too irritated at how he insists playing the same players that just look like they really don't care and they'd rather walk on the fieldd. His authority over the players is warrying and that obviously transfers itself on the field.

What is funny with some of the fans of Milan here is that they are a kind of "Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde" ...

On one hand, they want their prefered players to show loyalty, because we have values, we are Milan, we don't sell players, and players don't want to be sold, we keep our stars, etc ... but on another hand, they don't show any loyalty for some other people in the team such as Ancelotti for example who always showed loyalty too and was fundamental in our last wins (nobody was complaining for the Christmas Tree when Ancelotti launched it to use Kaka' at his best, as well as Pirlo).

It's not a blame, I'm in this case too when I say that I want Seedorf and Dida to go for example whereas they brought us many things and helped us a lot for winning titles !!

But it's maybe something we all have to change ... just because it's Milan and we're their fans. So let's support everyone in our team, from the coach to our most recent players (even Beckham, let's try to watch him play without having a negative point of view before he even touches the ball, and I have to include into the people who should try that).

Am I the only one to think he did against us too many useless things ? That he missed too much balls when he had better solutions ?

This boy will be very strong only if he can mature his kind of play ... because right now, he's just another very technical boy who thinks he is in Fifa or PES and can dribble anybody.

4 last meeting in Serie A:

31/8/2008: Milan vs Bologna : 1-2
30/01/2005: Milan vs Bololgna : 0-1
19/9/2004: Bologna vs Milan : 0-2
1/2/2004: Bologna vs Milan : 0-2

They arent quite good record. Specially Miha recent days has good formulation 4-5-1 to make centrocampo stronger than before. They winger very active to give crosses for their beloved striker aka DiVaio so thats why he is in the 1st place at marcatori rank. This kind of formation suits to duel with Carletto formation 4-3-2-1. Hopefully with new morale with Kaka stays another 3 points will be the result.

Ambro was a far better player before Carlo took over. Carlo's biggest problem is being stubborn, and not giving different tactics or youth a chance.

Other than that I can't see anyone to replace him of ex Milan players, which is a ridicolous choice for the club, as it's merely to make sure the coach is a puppet o Galliani/Berlu whims.

i can't imagine. 3 finals in CL with 2 wins nothing to do with the coach?
did you actually watch milan under carlo? milan vs münchen? milan in 2002/03?
milan vs MU? milan in 2004/05 (even milan lost in the final)

carlo is limited coach? come on! even i don't like ancelotti now, i still can't say he is very limited coach. he is a very clever coach that's why he was very successfull in CL, a competition with tactic and strategy. but he is not a type of a coach that can motivate his team. that's why we suffered very often in the league. but lately carlo is a 'hard head' coach who only field same players from time to time (read : unfair coach).

except the bold part, i mostly don't agree.

What I only want to say is that critics are different to disrespects. We still can give critics (soft or very hard critics) by still supporting Milan.
