I think Pirlo is a great player but he plays 1 good game in 5 games. + he is getting older, almost 30 + he can't play in other position eccept DMC and help the team in different role. + with him the team can't play 4-4-2 wich is a system that is the best one for us.
Ronaldinho: He is not still fit, he is still fat, and he hasn't the desire he has with barca at his best. I can't see him to perform like his best with barca.

Our new Milan.

-----------------------------Abiatti----------------------------------

Miguel-------------T.Silva-----------Nesta-------------Zambro--------

Ribery------------------Gattuso------Flamini--------------------Janku

------------------------------------Kaka-------------------------------
-------------------------Pato--------------------------------------------

How about that......... just a idea dont start screaming.
Hmm.. I won't scream but it amazes me how some people on MM have disregarded R80 completely. I rate him higher than any other player on the planet though he's down these days. As far as getting rid of Pirlo is concerned, he's one of the best playmakers out there so I wouldn't get rid of him quickly (irrespective of my love for his game).

Miguel isn't worth more than 12m, plus his style won't ideally suit Serie A.

As has been said a lot of times by many, buying Ronaldinho was not a smart move and now playing him is becoming another problem (so those skeptics reminding us of the 2006 WC were probably right after all). It would be a dream come true of R80 can get back to his best and learn to play with Kaka'.

Replace one of the midfielders with Gourcuff and things might look right in your formation. Also Ribery is not a winger like Diego Capel. He likes to cut in and play through the middle/roam around as well so he's might be a problem to Kaka's game (like R80 is).

Can someone help me out understanding why Ronaldinho cannot work with Kaka but Seedorf can so smoothly.

Rumor has it that we are looking to bring back another player from last century.

Simply put, I'd say it's a mixture of two factors: The first is that both Kaká and Dinho want to the centre of the team's build-up play, whereas Seedorf (who usually doesn't play as high on the pitch) tends to mold his game to accomodate Kaká. The other factor is time; Seedorf has played with Kaká many times more than Dinho has - so obviously they know each other better.

I do think it's be possible for Kaká and Dinho to play well together (I still have faith !), they just need time and perhaps more importantly the will to let each other do what they do best, Kaká being faster and more dynamic and Dinho being more creative and technical. If they do that (and Dinho gets back into shape) we'll have an absolutely irresistible weapon on our hands - though maybe I'm just a daydreamer...

Add Pato to that. Now I'm dreaming

But I do think Kaka' has to compromise his game if there is a possibility that we can get the best out of R80.

I don't really get why some posters (not just mrki) are so set on taking Pirlo out the team (if not the club). Maybe I'm missing something, but to me much of the reason he's struggled in recent years is 3-fold.

1) Opponents figured out Carlo's system and pressed Pirlo as EVERYTHING went through him before.

2) He didn't have the freedom to move around much, making him an easy target to press.

3) The team was shamefully static. Only recently has the team really looked mobile again in it's movement. This means Pirlo, as a distributor and a creator has no options whatsoever to create anything, and ends up struggling to pick a decent pass.

Recently, Pirlo's game has been much better, and for me without a doubt it's to do with the teams improvement. We're moving much better giving him targets, he's got a little more freedom as other are actually covering now and most importantly we're on the right track to finding some balance in the side.

All English press are bull$hit man... Accept that. The Malouda thing is a joke. He could not play at the center, and we never need a pure winger. But if that means our strategy's changing, I'm on it.

I'd say yes if it will be only until the end of season. We need reinforcements on the backline and he will provide those. Then at next season we'll get Thiago Silva as his replacement. Sounds good.

Hey, nobody is more skeptical of the English media than me. That's why I said in the beginning it probably wasn't worth much. But who knows what Milan might be thinking? Maybe there are plans to switch formations, in which case Malouda and Ribery would make a nice pair on the wings!

I think if we haven't signed Mattioni we would have gone for Pannucci without a shread of doubt..Galliani has a fetish for these kind of players

I think Panucci will still come, despite Gallaini's denial.

Somewhere between Kaladze and Baresi.

Honestly, I don't think many have seen him play. Maybe someone from Brazil?
