I think most of the sane members of this forum will get over their frustration with Ancelotti once they realize 2 things:
1. We are going to lose games with Ancelotti, or any other coach. 2. There is no such thing as an easy / non-frustrating defeat. crap... that was epic, I think I will add that to my signature

But Gourcuff IS slower and less dynamic than Kaka, and he can't ever replace him

We haven't seen the best of Gourcuff yet. And if people haven't forgotten, Kaka has been blowing hot and cold since he won the CL. His inconsistency is a real concern for me. Is is any surprise to me that Pato has replaced him as the in form player? No.. since Kaka is not the same player he was.. though he can get back to his days.
I love Kaka not only because he's one of the world's best but also because he's a man of more ethics than most other players. Can Gourcuff replace the current Kaka? A 100% yes.. atleast as a footballer though not as a fan favourite who people consider as the next Maldini. People should stop considering Kaka as untouchable.. he's been a very good (not great) player for 2 years.

I am only saying this over his current form (which includes pretty much the last year). Tell me, has Kaka been the best player around for the last 2 years? Did he deserve to be amongst the top 5 players for the Player of the Year awards? Heck has he even been the best player at Milan this season?
It's funny the name says Carlo Ancelotti but the posts remind me of Jose Mourinho.

it seems like this forum has been hit by a severe expectations bloat, depriving it's members of reasonable thinking...
what do you expect from the guy?!!!! you want his every performance to be world class??!!! he has been delivering GOOD performances conisistentnly - creating chances, providing assits, being our creative point and OCCASIONALLY he has world class performances - like the goal against Bologna! he isn't Milan's best player at the moment?! I beg your pardon, who is!? take the current Golden Ball winner - CR7, does he have world class performances every game?! does Messi?! come back when you regain your sanity.

It toko me very little time to regain me.. sanity, was it?
I disagree with what you said. You're right, his performances cannot be world class in every game but he hasn't been world class level consistent either (which means what you said.. maybe we were watching different games). In many games his contributions are not enough. I don't expect him to get a goal or an assist every game but it's certainly not as good as Xavi, Iniesta, or Messi (sorry most Barcelona players) have been who have been atleast quite good in every game and very good in most for more than a year now. Gattuso was the best player at Milan this season before he got injured.. even Pato though he made a slow start has been playing well for a couple of months now. In our CL title winning season, Kaka was better than this, which obviously means he's worse this season. As far as Cronaldo is concerned, he's terribly over-rated in my opinion. He didn't deserve the award.. that's a separate story altogether. As far as Messi is concerned, I watch Barcelona games very very frequently and I must accept, his form and consistency is better than what Kaka's has ever been. He's world class in every second game. I don't want to refer to the statistics as they are misleading but looking at his ability to do something significant in every game, he has far exceeded Kaka atleast this season. This discussion hurts me because Kaka's my favourite player but what's out there is the truth.

every player you mentioned there as better than Kaka is a Barca player.
and you judge them on the number of assists / goals and dribbles (for Messi). Spanish Primera is a VERY ATTACKING MINDED league...which means more assists, goals, dribbles.... Messi may be in better form than Kaka now, but pleaseeee! world class every game? you obviously haven't seen the selfish messi, the wasteful messi, and the ineffective messi. watch again.

Cmon man...Messi has been WC in more than 80% of the games this year, extremely influential, the froward trio has scored more goals than the whole Milan, Inter and Juve, and believe me almost all goals has come from the right side. What is Messi doing this season is out of this world. Just go and watch the last Barca game, talking about INFLUENCE.
