Hell to the yes. I don't know whether it's because you never thought he's good enough or whether you think he can never get back to his best but you should give him a chance.. alteast 2 seasons.

AC Milan sign Italian Under-21 left back
/ Confirmed transfer
03/02/2009
AC Milan have continued to strengthen their ageing squad with the signing of highly-rated Parma left back Marco Rossi.

The 21-year-old is the third young defender to join the Rossoneri in January following two very highly rated Brazilians in Thiago Silva and Felipe Mattioni, the second of whom has been labeled "the new Maicon."

Parma are expected to lend Rossi to Milan until the end of the season. The Rossoneri will then have the right to buy the left-sided defender for around two million euros.

Rossi played 17 games for Parma this season, he has spent his whole career at the Serie B club, except for one season on loan at Modena.

According to IMScouting’s network of scouts in Italy, Rossi is a "multi talented defender who is more comfortable as a left back, but can play as a central defender as well. Rossi is very tall, strong and with great pace, he has a very high work rate, and he is very tough. Needs to improve his technical skills, and if he can do so he can be a top Serie A defender. He is a member of the Italy U-21 team."

I think it's a co-ownership with Parma but the player will stay at Parma for now.

I think the reasons why I asked that and don't agree are obvious and posted before, if mrki is serious

Haha, Im serious. Signing a young italian defender and letting him play 6 more months on loan is a good thing in serie a.

I dont think he would have played right now in Milan.

Not that I am for loans really but co-ownership is not good at all, to me it doesn't serve any purpose, just my opinion

^^ A small team is more likely to accept a co-ownership deal than a pure loan deal because they'll at least make some money out of it. Then we can evaluate the kid and figure whether he's good enough to play for us or not.
