Attending Milan matches

Once upon time we had a separate, dedicated page that answered questions like how to get tickets, what station to get off at, etc.

I am going to ask for help in re-compiling that info, here and perhaps in the form of an announcement. Must have that kind of a page going again.

They print names on the tickets to AC Milan games? I'm from Dallas and was wanting to watch the Feb. 22nd match vs Cagliari. Can I not just go to the stadium and get tickets from scalpers for cheaper than face value (I'm assuming this match will not sell out)? Is it possible to scalp tickets or do I have to buy them from the stadium?

is it possible to buy on line tickets for this match?

i saw in calciomercato that the tickets were already sold out..

i also saw in Milan´s website that it´s possible to buy tickets in 11/02, but i must wait until that day...

what can i do?

Initially wanted to try out for the derby but due to our team's great current form, I guess it'll be a sellout :p Will be flying out to Milan for my first ever Milan match against Cagliari...planning to buy the tickets on the matchday itself....just want to ask, will it be easy for me to buy the South Stand tickets?

I fly to milan every 2 weeks or so for our home games and I buy my tickets on the day. All you need is your passport (and money).

You can buy tickets for every home (except for big games like inter, juventus etc as these are sold out in advance) at the ticket office outside the San Siro.

Alternatively you can buy the tickets at www.acmilan.com

www.acmilan.com has a limited number of sections available. This is why I don't buy them here as I generally go to the second green section - best value in my opinion at €18.

I'm looking at the opportunity to see that match aswell. So far I've not found any tickets on the official site, I've sent them an email about it though.

we wound up sitting in the red section, because the orange section was sold out

we went to the stadium on saturday to buy our tickets, but none of the stands were open. we spoke to the people working in the stadium musuem and also the stadium store and they assured us we could buy tickets the day of the game

there are free buses from the lotto area to the stadium, which was nice. we stayed at the montebianco hotel near the lotto area, so the free buses to the game were right there by the hotel

our tickets were 34 euros each and they were in section 233. it was great because we were in the first row and no one was infront of us and i could stand up and jump around in the aisle every time we scored!

i was the only one who did this for every goal...but i didn't care...i was so happy!!!

Jacko: thought id let you know if you're still reading, since we're both looking into the same match. From what I've gather of info online it seems that most places will sell tickets for 3-4 times the price you get on the stadium at the day of the match. I don't like the thought of travelling down there without a 100% ticket myself, but I can't see the match getting sold out either really.

A little question to those who's been there before. Do they only sell the tickets on the stadium at the day of the match or days before aswell? If I'm taking the trip I will travel down there at about thursday so if they are for sale on friday it shouldnt be a big issue for me

so, one week til im in Milano now

still no tickets on the website, so im hoping to find them when im down there. Was wondering if they are only for sale on the matchday or if its possible to get them days before at say Milanpoint?
