But we tend to screw up when it seems we have an extra easy game, luckily this time around we have Dinho, Sheva, Pippo,Flamini,Antonini who are capable enough to go past Reggina who actually never put a fight against us. But we have to be aware, there are interantional friendlies in midweek and we play the most important game of the season after that, if we manage to beat inter, they are going down...thats what has always been Mou`s biggest weakens in seria A, u can tell his scared from Milan, he knows we have that extra creativity that he misses in Inter.

We don't have a week to prepare as their are international friendlies midweek. I'd start R80 with Seedorf & Pato, and bring on Kaka if needed. I'd like to see Cardacio, Flamini in mid with Beckham, with Antonini in def instead of Favalli or Senderos.

Which our players will play idweek friendlys? Pirlo, Zambrotta, maybe Bonera, Dinho?, Kaka' for sure, Pato maybe some part but will be called up, Marek, Senderos, Beckham??...

But Merda also has players on international duty: Maicon, Burdisso, MAterazzi, Samuel, Cesar, Cambiasso, Stankovic, Mancini 8 lately called up by Dunga), maybe Adriano, Ibra, Cruz...

I dont like the fact those games are 4 days before the derby...

Wonder what we would think if Cardacio but not Flamini will play.

I for one would appreciate it. We should keep Flamini fresh for the Merda game, and I feel Cardacio would be motivated enough to perform. I'm only a bit peeved that Mattioni didn't get called up, it would give Zambro or Janku some rest, especially if him and Antonini play instead.

Marek has a back problem. He won't risk him before the derby. So it looks like Antonini on the right, and Zambro on the left. Who will be our CBs?

Flamini is too "fresh" to play against merda..there is absolutely no chance to see him against inter, especially if we dont see him today..how can we rest him for the inter game when he hasnt been tired at all this season..

if we dont see flamini today, then remember my words, forget him..its a gr8 chance for a lot of reasons that he should play tonight, not only for the absences but also for rotation reasons because of the merda game..if he doesnt then obviously he wont be playing any matches till the end of this season, especially serious ones, and then he will be leaving us the summer..

of course the next season im sure we ll have a lot of posts about why flamini is playing gr8 in his new team, and why he didnt(?) for us...

Im watching both games today and i hope inter lose or best tie. But we need to make a statment in our game 3-0 4-0 i mean a thrashing before the inter game to remind them who is the king of Milan.

We are ahead of an interesting match. It is a bottom side that we cannot underestimate despite of their current position in the standings.

We are doing well. We are playing good offensive football but we need to improve in defence. The link between defence and midfield is the current biggest issue we need to address. We have a tendency to be slow in shutting down the spaces when our opponent is attacking.

Abbiati

Zambrotta - Bonera - Maldini - Jankulovski

Beckham - Flamini - Seedorf

Kaka - Ronaldinho

Pato

It is likely that Milan will put Reggina under pressure from the beginning and therefore I believe we must field an offensive lineup with creative midfielders to unlock their defence.

It is by no means an easy match. There is no such thing in life as easy. I think Carlotti will rest some players that are tired. Above is the lineup I feel that we should play with.

I hope we do our best today and collect 3 points and hopefully score goals to make the Milan family happy and joyful on what is a beautiful winter evening.

Let's not forget the '07 CL victory...we rode on Kaka's back quite a bit during that campaign.
