Agreed, a lot will depend on R80 now, be happy with a CL qualifying place

Don't be so negative, Inter have their lapses too, bear in mind that Inter are worse in the San Siro than Milan and the derby is Inter's ground.

Last season an 11-point lead was reduced to just 1 point. Inter can be very bad at times

MILANO - L'A.C. Milan comunica che il calciatore Kakā č stato sottoposto oggi ad esami medici strumentali che hanno confermato il trauma distorsivo del piede sinistro, escludendo lesioni complesse. La prognosi č di almeno quindici giorni.

I do not understand italian at all but it seems that kaka will be out for about 15days

so no Kaka for darby

This is the time when Carlo deserves his pay by adopting a new strategy to win the match ala juventus match few years back when we player 4-4-2 with a flat mid with Kaka & Seedorf working wings. maybe try Beckham, Pirlo, Flamini, Seedord, withdrawn R80 with Pato upfront.

Subs Ambro, Inzaghi, Janku

High tension !!
I hope Kaka is ready for this game. His injured makes me worry. Bonera is suspended so does Balotelli.
My nerves is getting high.. Among all clubs in Serie A Inter is always the one that I would like Milan to beat.
I am not trying to over confident here.. but I think based on our record we will probably handle Inter and reduce the gap from them again BUT after that we will lose some crucial points against Cagliari and again.. and again against others mid/small clubs and Inter sadly will takes any points that they could get

EDIT: So do the math

Its the first time i dont care that much about this match..dont get me wrong i think we have good chances winning it,more than inter as usually..

even if we do win,it will be 5 points behind,i know they're not much, but with this milan they are a lot..whoever has watched inter this year knows that they really play crappy football(meaning not beautiful at all),but they are concentrated on their goal,on 3 points..of course they ve had some losses, but they lose points in a normal way, they win catania away palermo away udinese etc and all these med-difficulty games which are very crucial, they lose points in really unexpected matches and do you know why?because thats football, you always have to lose at some parts..

we have really bad mentality and really wrong desicions made by our coach, and these 2 are enough to lose a championship..believe me if we had mourinio(i m using his name, because he is a rival) there would be no chance of losing this championship, especially this one..

i know most of you are really hoping of a win on sunday..but have you really considered of losing..a loss(which is tottally normal on this matches)would mean the end of this seasons' high expectations..

its not about inter at all,id say its more about their coach(to not be misunderstood i think they re many better than him out there, not in serie a's big 3 although) under these circumstances but even if he loses it,it will not be from us..

either losing or winning for me this championship is lost, what do we have to see to realise it?we are just not capable of winning it..it takes a lot more than some derby wins, some good games home and some good players..a LOT more..

well Inter have big clash coming up against Man U, so they will be feeling the pressure. I think Milan can Use that to good effect...

I don't know, my mind tells me 442 is the way to go, with either Clarence or Marek on the left to stop Maicon early. I fear this man like no other.

I think we definitely need Flamini for this game, especially after his last game. He can muffle Cambiasso in the middle and choke Inters midfield game. With him and Pirlo in the middle, Becks on the right, and whoever on the left. That's the way to go. The 4321 was built for Pirlo, Gattuso and Kaka, and now that two of those three are out, we can't possibly use it.

Up front, I'd actually go for Pippo and Pato. But that's just crazy, and we all know its going to be Pato/R80. I don't know how that's going to work out. Pato is going to work wonders, i'm sure, but R80 is just an enigma. I don't know what he's going to do, and that's what I love about him. On paper, he just seems like a useless waste, but he always ends up making things happen.

Its the defence that we should all be worried about. Maldini did great the first time around, but these past few games he's been horrible. Bonera missing this one is an absolute nightmare for us. We need Kaladze back at least. Maldini and Senderos cannot stop Inter. Zambro and Marek on the right and left are untouchable (unless Marek is a LM, then use Antonini, who I find very overrated here in MM)

So:

Zambro, Senderos, Maldini, Marek
Beckham, Pirlo, Flamini, Seedorf
-----------------Ronaldinho
---------Pato

I don't see an alternative. I refuse to acknowledge Ambrosini. I want him out of our first 11 from now on.
