But since pirlo is the Mozart of football and is "irreplacible" ( I mean, who else can walk for two years, play 10 good games out of 60, and still be in Milan's first 11, its a world record and miracle! ), Seedorf is a "part of a family" and Ambrosini is just too good to be benched by some stupid player like Flamini ( last year one of the best Dm's in Europe!).... we dont actually need anyone but Beckham who CAN CROSS and maybe boriello so Carlo can finnally bench Pato so Becks has someone to cross to. And that is the plan for next year.

Also Panucci and maybe Vieri again.

Nesta's surgery may be a blessing in disguise. The glass man has been injured so much that we HAVE to dip in the market for another CB.

There are only two ways we can make investments: players end their careers (injury or retirement), or cover themselves in shame like Dida.

Dida actually did us a huge favour in Parkhead; he provided the model of completely wretched behaviour. Let's just hope Kaladze has a similar lapse in a game and is frozen out of the squad. That would mean two CBs.

The only defenders that should stay for next season are Bonera, Thiago Silva, Janku, Mattioni, Favalli (I don't know if he will retire, but he has been pretty good for us) and Zambrotta (amazing).

Again, we have to trim deadwood from the squad in general, so we should get rid of Dida, Kaladze, Maldini (retire), Nesta (always injured, time to quit football), Emerson, Seedorf (get good money for this lazy player), Shevchenko.

This would take lessen the wage bill considerably, especially considering how much Dida, Seedorf and Sheva make!

One more CB, and one more wingback.

Bring back Gourcuff, buy a striker like Vincenzo Iaquinta, and we are set.

There's no way in hell that Inter is going to sell Adriano to Milan, even if they don't sign him to a contract extension (which it now appears they may). I think a big, strong, physical striker is something Milan needs, but more realistic possibilities would be Benzema, Adebayor (especially if Arsenal doesn't make the Champions League) or Drogba (although if Mourinho is still at Inter I would expect him to sign Drogba and keep him away from Milan).

Well, we will see about Adriano, but I do hope for someone like Adebayor or Benzema. I would have add Drogba too but since JM is at Inter, I doubt Drogba will come to Milan. Then again, maybe Inter will sign Drogba and Adriano will sign with us.

A controversial Adriano strike and a second from Dejan Stankovic saw the league leaders on their way before they suffered a late scare after Alexandre Pato pulled one back. Inter dominated the game and should have put the tie to sleep before half-time.

Despite Adriano's opener seemingly a handball offence, Moratti agrees his side would have won nevertheless.

"I am not sure about Adriano's goal, there could have been [a handball], but we had such a determination that I think we would have been triumphant in any case," Moratti told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

"In the past the derby ended 4-3 once, but I think the game on Sunday should have been 7-0 to us.

"We should have won by more, but the most important thing is that we took home a positive result, and we did this by showing strength and determination.

"We played a great game it was great to see."

The Emperor Strikes Back

Adriano seems to have shrugged off his abject form as he was outstanding in the derby. The chief believes showing the striker faith and discipline has paid off.

"Adriano? It was a gamble won by all. I think [coach Jose] Mourinho has done everything to bring him back to his best and I am happy about this," added the president.

Inter have stretched their lead over Milan to 10 points and they are nine ahead of second-placed Juventus.

Haha, why even bother Siregar. Moratti is blatantly stupid. By saying that they should've won 7-0 he indicates just one thing: he still couldn't get over that world's most famous tennis game that took place in San Siro in May 2001.

Pato is a huge player!!! If Kaka will return to his best and R80 also or Gorky will come back he will become even better.
Maldini played alone in D becuse of KK is sucks but he was great. Jest one mistake VS Adriano.

You see, this midfield, for me, isn't enough ... you have no player able to play with his head there, so when you play against strong midfielders and tall ones, you're in trouble to take the ball ... of course, once you have it, it's better, also, when your opponent doesn't use aerials, you're good, but if they use aerials, good luck !!

Gattuso-Flamini is not what I call physical players ... they are players who run a lot, but they don't show physical power !!

In any case, phisical power in football is not being tall and heavy. Its playing like Gattuso can play, or Cambiasso, J.Zanetti, Cannavaro... Flamini can do that also.

And heading, where was it back then? Its not about that, its about brains and pressing. Yoan, Rino and Flamini can head just well trust me.We are not in England in 80's to head a ball 1000 times per game.

We dont have strong defence, a trademark of AC Milan. We are not Barca, and that is why I support Milan and not Barca. I dont care if we score 5 goals when we conceede 5 and then bla,bla in the media...

Buy great player,that is it. 50% of theese players are not up to the task anymore. Or some never were.

Milan will reach an agreement for Beckham for the next two years. Beckham got beaten up by Muntari and didnt manage to pass SANTON a single time. He will be 34 now ( or is already??).

Berlusconi will make a lot ofmoney from him as he is no.1 player for marketing. But this is a joke. And we expect a young player like Gourcuff to come back now? And play - where?

You think Beckham will be on the bench in the next season ? where will Rino play, he plays on the right side?

Any team with Abbiati starting instead of a fresh, younger keeper, along with old man Zambrotta and the flop Gourcuff (big wow, he's lighting up the perennially weak French league), can't possibly be touted as serious.

i watched him in genoa palermo game he was pretty good,strong good in the air,and loosk like he has some brains too,would he be a good buy i can`t say that i saw only once and it was in that game.
