Milan - Werder (second leg feb.26th)
Ok guys its all or nothing. I hope i dont see the Milan of the second half that i saw in the first leg, wow that was tough to watch.
My formation is 4-3-1-2 And i would love to see Pippo and Sheva with R80 behind them to start the match and if need be Pato can come in. Anything but the Xmas tree please Carlo. Forza Milan as always my friends

Pippo has been playing some games.. might he be tired?
OC Milano's 4-3-1-2 seems good if Inzaghi can play. No Seedorf as AM please.

yesterday i watched some sheva's highlights from this seasons matches against inter, when we won 1-0 , and against zurich (both legs).... he really had some moments of his old brilliance... the way he put himself in some chances, and then the way of shooting the ball, just reminded me at old sheva... if u remember sheva's shot against inter, when he struck really well, but julio cesar was even better... that's an example of sheva's old brilliance... and after that period in the beginning of the season, he didn't play much, because pato proved himself, and pippo was the second choice to come in when we needed the goal after 60 or 70 minutes of playing.... and i agree with that... but i still believe that sheva can score for us some important goals....

Kaka, Pato and Ronnie are all expected to be back for this match, so i expect an all Brazilian attack from the start, or atleast in the second half...

I'd like to see Sheva as well. But if he doesn't produce in a game or 2 Carlo benches him for the next 10 games. I've said the same about Senderos, you' cant play a player once a month and expect quality from him.

Think we're gonna go with our primary lineup in this one. Silvio was not happy with the first result, and i don't think he would accept a lose in this game. Pato, Ronaldinho and Kaka are all ready, so i think we'll play at least two of them (Pato/Kaka, Pato/Ronaldinho).

I DO hope that Sheva gets a start and gets a chance of showing some of that old magic. He could sure use a goal a goal to boost his confidence...and at home would be sweet. Pulling for him all the way.

Nope, I only hope that our president cares about our club. If Milan get bad results, Berlusconi should be unhappy (especially very bad result). The 'safest' bad result to slap the president is UEFA Cup. This competition is not for Milan. The only advantage of UEFA Cup is that Milan never won this competition but who cares! Milan haven't won also Serie C!

Besides the never-won thing, UEFA Cup title can offer another benefit, playing the Super Cup. If Milan can crush the winner of CL, whoever they are, it's a nice way to get back to the main stream.

Only thing i do hope is that if we go and win the UEFA cup, then the management still needs to acknowledge that we have some problems, and that 'half-solutions' like Senderos, won't get us where we need to be. I have a feeling that they could forget about the problems in the squad because of a trophy like that. It happened after CL 2006/2007 and it could happen again. |
