What would be nice if if Milan get a new manager and bring back Gourcuff and he becomes our star!!! however on a more serious note what do you all think about Melo from fiorentina? I think in the modern game we need such a player in our squad.
is there anyplayer out there on the transfer market that we can get to be an attacking sub for Kaka? and also we need a Utility player like Oshea from Man U... i think the only position he has not played is in goal.

Actually, isnt R80 a potential sub for Kaka? I hear ur point dough, and think that Gorky could be that player...except for his lack of pace.

Gourcuff's pace isn't a problem, it's just not a solution for our speed of play. In temrs of football intelligence Gourcuff is equal to all bar Pirlo in our mid, and dynamical better than all bar Kaka. Management are only creating an issue to facilitate their pension team.

The attitude and intentions of management have to be clarified before any of the mercato discussions are even realistic. The article on soccernet (and official site?) saying Ancelotti is aiming for third is probably the single worst thing I have read/seen in the years following Milan. We are third now and we are aiming to finish third??

IMO i dont think Milan are adapting to the changes in the football business. We invest too much time and money in old washed up players... since serginho and to a lesser extent Cafu, we have not retooled our wing backs sufficiently... we replaced the individual but not the quality... our wingbacks were our strong point in attack and we need creative wingbacks, (south americans; vargas, maxwel, alves, maicon)... and we nned some inexpensive eastern european players that are trainable and have shown some constant level of improvement over the years... (Vidic, Kranjar, modric, altintop)
i dont our scouts are doing a good job; or is it we are been out bidded by other clubs... if so we need to advertise milan as a reputable institution that will offer players the opportunity to win valuable trophies and that money is not all... then again on the other hand, young players may not want to come to Milan because we show very little faith in young players...
If we are to change Coach this summer i would love to have Leonardo as our coach...

Hey, I agree with Galliani on this one. An arrogant, class-less coach like Mourinho should not be coaching a classy club like Milan. If you want to win at all costs because you have no history (or in INter's case you have a history of losing), then you take on someone like Mourinho, give him a free hand, and watch him win titles while taking your club through the mud with all his comments, allegations against refs, rants against other coaches, etc. The guy brags when he wins, and rants when he loses. No dignity.

A club like ours needs a gentleman---someone who can remain humble when we win an remain gracious when we lose. I think Galliani does have a point.

RT9, if thats the case, then I guess Lippi cannot be our coach either as he never plays for us.

Honestly, I dont want Lippi as Milan coach. I never liked the way his Juventus sides play. And remember when he coached Inter? That was a complete disaster, I think they lost to Helsingborg or something that year. I know he's been a big success for the national team, but I don't know, I don't think his football style suits Milan. I would much rather prefer Rijkaard now, and maybe MVB in the future.

MVB, Rijkard, Leonardo and Donadoni . you can bet on donadoni. you should by now realized how the big heads operate at milan. they just cant bring any name without consulting with milan senators (seedorf, ambrosini, gattuso, pirlo and kaka) and trust me if MVB or rijkard is brought on he will bench if not sell them except for kaka and gattuso. Leonardo will be a big risk (coaching history) And donadoni will be ancelotti #2. a proper scapegoat.

What is good about Leonardo, aldough we know just a bit about him for now, is that it looks like he has a tremendous eye for players. And a person that can find a player is oftenly a person who deeply understands football and players habits.

And the problem with slowness in Milan is not in Yoan's possible speed or lack of it.

A team with Kaka', Pato, Flamini, Gattuso, Gourcuff, Zambrotta, Thiago, one more fast fullback... has enough speed. The problem is a cohesion of a sistem, space between back 4 and midfielders, deep or high defending, pressing etc.

IF Milan gets Nesta back ( pleeease Gods of football make that happen ) and buys just one good LB and gets back Yoan we'll have a hell of a first 11. Im talking just about first 11 now.
