Our Milan needs 3 or 4(tops) quality players + Yoan, Thiago and Abate+ne woach for discipline and freshness, and we can win CL.

We've been linked heavily again with Mexes according to goal.com. The thing is, that all this talk towards a big summer signing in defence, suggests that Nesta might be done. We've been linked with Vidic and Mexes again and again, and i fear that it might be because of Nesta's situation.

If we are gonna buy a world class defender, then I really hope it isn't Mexes. I haven't seen every Roma game, but the ones i've seen he hasn't impresed. I think we'd be better off picking up Zapata from Udinese in that case. He's a rock, and he would compliment Thiago Silva perfectly, because of his dominance in the air, and his great tackling ability, while Thiago Silva is a defender who's great at bringing the ball forward..

Well we'll see that if he can win Champions Leauge twice in a row, but the team they have now is the best they've ever had, and they're not even close to being compared with the Milan of Sacchi or Capallo's Milan in my opinion.

There is no way Man Utd can come even close to playing the same way as Sacchi's Milan. The closest I have seen were the Barca teams during their first peak when Rivaldo was in his prime, then again in 2005-2006 when Ronaldinho was in his prime---but they still lacked the defensive solidity that we had.

Either way, the question is not only whether new players can come and transform us. The question is whether we need a new coach and a new way of playing---perhaps with more speed and more width.

guys can you please stop comparing sacchi's milan to any other team. this is like comparing materasi to baresi.

milan is reportedly interest in Maxwell, lol i wouldnot mind him at all he is a huge upgrade on janku but clichy is the man we need his explosiveness is what we need on the flank, zambrotta should have at least two good years in him. Zambrotta Nesta(healthy) Thiago/Agger clichy is probably the best defence we can wish for

According to this link we could get him for £3m because of his contract expirering in 2010. This would be a great purchase in my opnion, and perhaps not to unrealistic since he's wasted at Inters bench.

Milan can take Maxwell for squad rotation not for starter in left fullback. We need a better player (regarding the defensive ability) compare to Maxwell.

Come on...vidic in an excellent player. He got outpaced by Torres, which is something that is not strange. Also Torres made a fool of Ferdinand of two occasions like Rio is a child. Great that Galliani saw how Torres is not worth the money as Shevs' replacement. The man is a beats that can be stopped only by fouls in most of the occasions.

Really a horrible game by vidić. Rarely bad performance by him.
