Official: Ronaldinho to Milan!

Acording to same poeple who close to Berlusconi he is angry on situation with Ronaldinho,he said that he should play for any costs. But he he metioned that Carlo said to him that Dinho is no ability to run like he wants.

On Gazzeta.it some story about Ronaldinho that he don't want to train and that he had not injury like he claim!

It's not always easy to walk it like you talk it. Take Dunga, for example. After the disappointment of Germany '06, he took over as Brazil coach on a ticket of 'team before stars.' "The truth is out there on the pitch," he said. "The player selects himself" - meaning that if he performs well enough, he is in the team.



Now apply that to Ronaldinho. His 'truth' out there on the field was devastating around the middle of the decade. But it has been deeply disappointing since. At an age when theoretically he should be at his peak, Ronaldinho has done little of note in the entire two and half years of Dunga's reign. And yet he is still selected.



Look at it from the perspective of Julio Baptista. For his country he has been a beast of burden. When Brazil needed him, he has been there. Kaka and Ronaldinho pulled out of the 2007 Copa America. Julio Baptista went to Venezuela, and was the key man as Brazil won the title. He made one and scored one in the semi final against Uruguay, and crashed home early to set Brazil on their way to victory in the final against Argentina.


After the tournament, when the stars came back he returned to the bench. And he could have few complaints about being behind Kaka in the pecking order. It is a different story, though, with Ronaldinho.



Last August Brazil took the Milan player to the Olympics in a bid to help him get his fitness back. Towards the end of the season he still does not seem to have made much progress.



In the absence of Kaka, Ronaldinho was in the starting line up for the World Cup qualifier away to Ecuador. The altitude of Quito always makes it a difficult venue for Brazil - and with their number 10 a virtual passenger, they were over-run this time, with only poor finishing from the hosts and superb goalkeeping from Julio Cesar keeping them in the game.



They nearly snatched an unlikely win. With 20 minutes to go, Julio Baptista came on for Ronaldinho . Suddenly Brazil had an attacking midfielder with the physical capacity to get up in the penalty area in support of Luis Fabiano. Baptista immediately shot Brazil into the lead - though a late equaliser saved a more-than-deserved point for Ecuador.



Three days later Brazil were at home to bottom of the table Peru. Kaka was back, so Julio Baptista once again was on the bench. And after their respective displays in Ecuador, he must surely have felt himself the victim of an injustice when he was not called upon - while Ronaldinho came on for the last fifteen minutes.


Admittedly, the game was in Ronaldinho's home city of Porto Alegre. And, as Julio Baptista would surely admit, Ronaldinho is by some distance the more talented of the two. But 'the truth out there on the pitch' is that during Dunga's reign, there is no doubt that Julio Baptista has been the more useful of the two. And yet his exploits have not been deemed sufficient for him to 'select himself.'



Julio Baptista, then, is entitled to feel that there is a lack of coherence in the coach's message. Dunga says he will persist in his efforts to recuperate Ronaldinho. If there is any chance of the player recapturing his mid-decade form then it is a noble aim. But an excess of patience with the stars could have a detrimental effect on the performances of the team - precisely the reason that Dunga was appointed in the first place.

So true. Ronaldinho has been a huge disappointment. There is a reason why Carlo doesn't play him; he is just not good enough currently. Really lazy and infuriating.
