We definitely need power and height in the box! when sendros appears in lecce's box,he immediatelly create impact to the game, and directly initiate a goal.before that, we are fighting in the mud against a league bottom team.Imagine what 2 power center in the box can bring to our attack contre bunker football?

We can cash out r80 to raise part of the money for adebayor, and bring back gorky.

If we still cann't conquer bunker defence on a regular basis with Adebayor, boriello and 1 power CB(like alex) in the box at the same time, carlo should leave,I won't defend him any longer.

Stop dreaming about a team of "Koller"s ... we just need players like Cannavaro (not him ), players who aren't that tall but who are able to always be placed rightly (and so they win duels when they have to play with their head).

I can't believe what I'm hearing! We should have signed Adebayor last summer?!? Apart from the last 5 days he's been completely underwhelming all season. Just because he scored a wonder-goal it doesn't make up for a season of flops. It's not that he's a bad player by any stretch of the imagination, he has the tools to be a great one, but he was seriously overpriced last summer (following a season he's not likely to repeat) and will be again this summer.

Also, I don't like that some in here are starting to imply that Senderos should stay next season

The place is going crazy nowadays !! Probably because of the sun that is back ... Did you notice that there are people wanting Senderos (because he scored one goal) and Shevchenko (because he made an assist) to stay ?!

That would be the worst mercato ever if we end with these two players here ...

Unless Senderos began to play as a striker, would be interesting though. And Sheva stays as a coach, to teach English to our U15 players....

I can't believe people are talking about Adebayor again, I thought we came to the conclusion that he sucks.

As for the comment I made about the 3 non IT rule. it will help the development of IT players within each team and it forces teams to look long and hard at those non IT signings, instead of just signing anyone that have one good season.
And I think even the small teams will get quality players too.

One more thing, I always say Series A need to do better in marketing themselves.... but what I don't understand is why fans are not showing up at the stadium week in and week out. I also notice that a lot of the stadiums in Italy have their closest stands about 25M away from the pitch where as England and Spain is about 5M. Thats need to be change. Another is the speed of the game, I know tradition is great....but in today's football world, the speed of the game is everything, and thats something IT teams lack. Lastly, need coaches to play for win instead of draw, and thats a huge mentality switch from now.

One last thing about Kaka, he is STAYING as long as Milan have a plan about the next 5 yrs.

My first pick is always Eto'o, and I clam we dont need a phisical forward necessary. Tridente of Kaka'-Pato and Eto'o would be the fastest tridente on the planet who can cover so much space that it would look like we have 5 players there and now 3. Plus, Eto'o can play wider right if its needed. And is a goal machine and a first striker and not a "seconda punta".

http://www.calciomercato.it/news/459...-Adebayor.html

Also, this is something Im afraid could hgappen and I dont see it smart mercato move. Im convinced Yoan can play well for us.

It's pretty funny on here since the Lecce match. Suddenly it seems Senderos may be a great player to keep and Sheva is great again. With all due respect, neither player has anything to do in Milan next season, and it would be a major mistake to keep either.

As for Adebayor, I still think he's a very good player, but at this point he's overpriced imo.

This is really funny. People 'judge' other opinion only from one post? If someone says that Ade, Senderos or even Sheva should stay/be bought, it doesn't mean that the reason is only from ONE MATCH or ONE INCIDENT.

If Ancelotti wants player like Adebayor, how can't others say the same thing?

The bold part:
I disagree again ... it's not because you have only Italian players that the quality will increase. If formation doesn't improve, so the next Italian players who will get the spots in first teams will be slowly worst and worst. So, in long term, it can't be a solution. And anyway, at short term, it would be too difficult and unrealistic to realise: don't forget Italy is in the European Union and the EU is totally against these kinds of restrictive rules/laws (it's seen like a kind of "discrimination").

Even with the 6+5 rule, it looks like they will be in trouble to realise it because even if sports ministers from some countries are ok (not the English one, why ? ), the European Union already stated that it was against the rights of freedom, but in football world, it looks like no media relates that, they think FIFA/UEFA can do whatever they want, but they simply can't, football clubs are considered like firms (or associations with professionals, workers, etc, so same rules as the firms). So they will have to negotiate for a long time I think.

About the other part, I agree, but they want to clear that: it's why they want the Euro in 2016 or 2020, I don't remember (same for France). They want to organize it because if they are chosen, governments will give funds to build new stadiums or improve the current ones ...

I was referring to some posts I read where it was said that we should keep Sheva because he showed this week he was still great ... which is quite weird. This way, we can't say we would like Seedorf to be on the bench next year because he made 2 great games this season.

I think we should get Fernando from Porto. He was huge against Man U. We could use him in Pirlo's spot next year until Pirlo finds some consistency. Fernando's like a Flamini type of player but with better passing and more creativity, absolutely fantastic player. We should also look into getting a striker like G.Rossi or someone like Pato but those type of players are hard to find.

I was impressed by Fernando also, my friend...but it´s early to tell if he will be amazing. At least for me that only saw the boy playing 2 times.

Another thing, I´m also very careful with players coming from Porto or Lyon...they have a great system, stability, and some above average players just looks great with them...and when they goes to another team, that "amazing" player show his real game...look, I´m not saying that every player there is a fraud(this would be stupid), I´m just saying that we need to be very careful...

Back to your topic, If Milan wants to buy a Brazilian mid for the next season, imo, Hernanes or Ramires needs to be the choice. Whats both are playing right now(and last year) are of another world.

I'm not saying we should keep sendros, I just want to emphasize that power and height will be efficient against italian average team when they play 8-1-1 formation.we need physicality in the box,we are one-dimensional tactically.
